Wow! The food here is fresh, hot and delicious! So many times I’ve had luke warm breakfast from chain restaurants I had forgotten what a real hot breakfast was like. Well you need to come here because the food is hot and so so good! Super friendly people and she makes homemade pies to order!! This is my favorite place to come now! Definitely worth the drive to beautiful downtown Wamego!!

Stopped in on a day the grill was down but even without it I was impressed! Best chicken fried steak n eggs breakfast I’ve had. The service was great and the atmosphere grade A number one top notch American Cafe!!! Job well done all around!
