Frida Kahlo would be proud. The atmosphere is festive (even night of the dead). The Margaritas are delicious, as are the shrimp tacos. In and outdoor seating. Great service from a very polite staff.

In my opinion the food is average. Not great and not bad. For me it is the ingredients used. For example they use ground beef instead of beef chuck for some of their beef entrees. Spices used in dishes are above average and their salsa is above average. I do not like their tortilla chips.

Vegetarian Chimichangas and Enchiladas were awesome and “hit the spot”.

My family and I went here, we called ahead of time to let them know we would have a party of 8. When we got there we were seated and our server came and was immediately rude and we could tell she was in a bad mood. She walked up and the only thing she said was “what do you want to drink”, our server kept rolling her eyes and acting like we were a bother. She just stood by the bar on her phone too. My grandma asked for no onions on her meal and she looked at her and said “no, we don’t do that” which is just weird. She walked back in the kitchen and we heard her talking bad about us even though we were nothing but nice. We will never come back here and i would never recommend this place to anyone. I’ve never had such a bad experience. The food was okay though

I like the Art atmosphere of this restaurant. The artist Frida Patio is the symbol of it. The food we ordered the tacos and soup were good. We couldn’t try more of them Just our time a little bit rush this time. We definitely will come back again .

This place is truly just OK. The salsa had no spice to it, tasted similar to a cold marinara sauce. Steak tacos were dry…really needed a sauce. The quest was so tiny…basically in a pudding cup. Chips seemed very store bought, not made in house. Most annoying thing was our waitress…didn’t bother to ask how everything was…actually wasn’t even aware we had gotten our food because she was away so long. My husband ordered a modelo and got a bottle. He asked if they had it on draft and was told NO…but they had a tap for it…so they were probably just too lazy to change the keg. Won’t bother again.

The only reason I didn’t give this place five stars is because it was quite toasty in there. They certainly didn’t have it nice and cool for this hot July day! As far as the food goes it was delicious. Restaurant wasn’t very busy so my service was quick, the prices are a little higher than your traditional Mexican restaurant but it’s a pretty vibe inside and there is a nice area for outdoor seating if you don’t mind the scorching heat. ☀️

Bad manager, bad experience. Went tonight after enjoying many visits before. Food was very good, but the margarita tasted like passion fruit for some reason (bartender said it was there normal mix, okay that’s fine, don’t remember that before). Bill comes and our bill shows margaritas are more expensive than the menu. Ok sure, mistakes happen. I raise it to the waiter and he checks with the manager. The manager said prices are subject to change, and they couldn’t do anything. They lost a customer over $1. It’s not much, but the principal, your menus should be accurate and you should honor them. Food was really good and waiter was nice, I just don’t understand the managers perspective.

I came to Frida’s Patio after going on a hike in the area. I was looking for some street tacos and some more traditional Mexican dishes. The flan was creamy and authentic, but the tacos had their flavor diluted by the iceberg lettuce put on top. The service was great though!
