I don’t typically write reviews but this place deserves it. Great service & excellent food…….it’s a winner! I had 3 tacos, pastor, asada, and shrimp and all great. So much larger and flavorful than most of the other street style tacos out there, couldn’t eat all 3. Can’t wait to try more on the menu! I devoured the first taco before I decided to take my picture 🙂

The BEST food cart experience I have ever had. Probably best service I’ve ever had, period. We met Lorenzo and he said “everything is good!” He gave me some samples and talked to me about his vision and passion for making great food, so fresh and tasty! He was so kind and welcoming and everything that I had was delectable. I got carne asada tacos and they were packed with meat and fresh Pico. I had asked for like 4 tacos and he was like “these are big tacos, not like other places, you can eat 4?!” I settled for two and hardly finished because i was so full. It was perfect. Everything was fresh and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best I’ve ever had. I will be dreaming of the fresh chunky guacamole and fresh tortilla chips until my next visit. I will be telling all my friends! This guy cooks with his heart.❤️

Lorenzo is by far the most genuine, kindest, most warm hearted and loving person that I may have ever met, and the DELICIOUS FIRE FOOD that he serves reflects his passion and the love in his heart that he has for everyone! Truly, food can only be this good because of the love he has. His perfect 55 reviews (all raving 5 stars) still cannot describe how special his food cart is. It’s like a beaming light of joy and a breathe of life in the midst of an area that really really needs it. In addition to his food being the most delicious in town, his serving portions are beyond generous and he hands out beautifully plated free samples often. MASSIVE burritos! Even his food cart is by far the most beautiful around, with lots of happy flowers and bright red and blue colors. I have to go to Frida’s EVERY time I go downtown.

This place is so awesome! Found these reviews and decided to give it a try as I was visiting Portland on business. On a cold rainy night, I ordered quesobirria. While waiting, Lorenzo served me a potato taquito & chicken tinga soup. Not only that, the taquito was plated beautifully!
