What a ruined experience, just received the offer. Meet in tacos is dry. Flauta dinner soaked in salad water. 2 lime slices for 8 tacos. 2 sauces for 8 tacos. Tacos piled up in box, mixed up. Had high hopes, but whoever fixed the order tonight didn’t care to say the least, just ignorant of who will eat it or not in this case! $70+ and 2 orders also missing Burrito Fajitas and grilled chicken buritto. What a shame!

First, definitely order the cheese dip to start. Meal: Amazing street tacos, especially carnitas and Barbacoa. Margaritas, just order the large, you will wish you did!!!! Staff is super attentive and fast service! We are here twice while in town, it is that good!!!! Will definitely stop back if we are ever passing thru.

Tried this place on a whim and oh my gosh the food was amazing!!! I got the shredded beef tacos and my husband got enchiladas. The tacos were the best I’ve had in Alabama, and even better than the ones I had in Cali as well. The queso was really delicious, the chips were hot and fresh. Service was crazy fast and they were so sweet and friendly. I love the teamwork of the staff and they were constantly checking if we needed anything including drink refills. The margaritas were not skimped on the tequila at all. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience and we will gladly return. To the staff, thank you so much for your hard work and positive attitudes, you deserve the world. God bless you!!

My bestie and I came here and the food was very delicious but the customer service was horrible. We called and asked about Apple Pay before arriving and they said yes it works but when it was time to pay the lady at the register said it doesn’t work then the wifi went out and she still didn’t know how to work the equipment to check us out. Not too many of the employees can speak enough English to have a full on conversation with you. If you’re a lightweight person and don’t like strong Margaritas then don’t order them here. If you do, this is the place. But we don’t.

Our food was good and the staff was friendly, although service was a little slow in late evening just a an hour before closing. Food ingredients were of good quality and the dishes were nicely prepared. Prices seem a little high for the dishes served. We will certainly dine here again.

I love Frita’s food – it’s the best in the area in my opinion. Their street tacos, chili rellenos, and guacamole are my favorite. I do have issue with their chips on to-go orders; they only give you 1 bag even if you paid $6 and $5 for two different dips, they’ll only give you 1 small bag. If they weren’t so stingy on the chips they’d be a full 5 star.

Wow!! We went here on a whim on a Friday night and the food/service was awesome. We were seated immediately despite being busy, and were served complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa is really good but I’d recommend you request their homemade hot sauce! (Warning: it is very spicy!) I ordered the vegetarian fajitas and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp chiles relleno, and they were both delicious. Giant portions (you can get several meals out of this) and fair pricing. We will be back!

Took the crew here for a quick lunch and it smacked! Food was good and came out in a timely manner! Service too! Plus, they have the biggest dam bottle of vodka I’ve ever seen That choriqueso is pricey but one of the best I’ve had!

What a hidden gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal: cheese dip, guacamole, chips and salsa and fajitas. The Pina Colada was also very good. The wait staff was friendly and the decor and atmosphere was fun. There were Frida tribute paintings on every wall. We will definitely be back.

There are too many authentic Mexican restaurants in town to waste your time and money here. The first time I went they charged me for someone else’s cheese dip (I did not order any). When I asked them about it, they said I would need to work it out with my party, to see who did not pay. After going through everyone’s checks I found they had overcharged two others as well. I did not get my money back. Decided to give them another chance today. Big mistake. Ordered a lunch taco salad with chicken for $10. Not a bad price. I asked if I could add some broccoli on top and was charged $5! Yes, 50% of the entire cost of the salad. Have never felt welcomed but they do not have to worry about serving me again.
