The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve had freshies in Utah a few times so when I heard they opened up in Boise I knew I had to come and get food. I was extremely happy with the lobster Lettuce Cups I got the cilantro sauce on the side. My coworker got the lobster roll and clam chowder and she said they were both delicious! Worth the money!

The freshest lobster I’ve ever had!!! It was cooked perfectly and absolutely worth every penny! I’ve paid way more for lobster at other “fine dining” establishments in Boise and it’s never been even close to Freshies Lobster Co!

We got a crab roll and a lobster roll. The sandwiches were served on a grilled New England style bun, that to me tasted like Texas toast. Not being a fan of Texas toast it was kind of hard to get through. The crab and lobster were good but it was $21 for 4oz of crab. We both kind of struggled to finish our sandwiches. I’ve had dozens of crab rolls and am use to them being kind of light on the stomach, but after these we wanted to take a nap.

Walked down to Freshies from my house on the Bench today to try a lobster roll and it was pretty darn good. I was there @ 1 pm and they weren’t overly busy. Ordered, and got my roll in 10-12 minutes. It was loaded with butter soaked lobster and I was glad that it wasn’t a mayo based sauce. It only had a little smeared on the bun. I also liked the bun they used, nice and soft and toasted. My only complaint (and I’m not going to complain about the price, because I had a lobster roll in Key West back in 2019 and it was 20 some dollars then, 4 years ago, and it wasn’t as good) is that the bottom of the bun got soggy. It almost had too much butter. Maybe they could drain the lobster a little more before they put it on the bun. But if you like lobster and butter you will enjoy this roll.

The very best food! I have lived in Maine and been back to visit many times and I’m not sorry to say that I love lobster rolls! I don’t know how you have a lobster roll this good in Idaho but I promise you it’s the best one I’ve ever had! I love to see Brian and Lauren and the team! They are so fun and personable!

I really wanted to love this place. I love lobster rolls and it’s rare to find them in landlocked Idaho. However, I was sadly disappointed by the lobster roll I was served. The amount of lobster (4oz) was good, but it was served on Texas toast rather than a roll. The mayo and butter sauce was under the lobster and soaked into the bread, making it soggy. It would have been much better if the butter sauce was mixed with the lobster better and it was served on a toasted roll. On a positive note, the brown butter corn was delicious! I didn’t try any of the other dishes, but my husband said their chowder was good. It may be worth trying another dish like their Mac and cheese, but I won’t be ordering another lobster roll any time soon.

Ordered the lobster roll and the lobster lettuce cups. Mercy!! The lettuce cups were tasty, with a hint of spice – very good. The lobster roll was incredible! My husband and I ate silently, glancing at each occasionally with wide eyes until we had finished. Then we both couldn’t shut up about how delicious this sandwich was! Next time, we’ll each get our own lobster instead of sharing one. You guys are great!
