My family and I really used to love fresh pita, sadly, it has gone downhill, and I will not be returning again. When we walked in, nobody was in the front, and everybody seem to be socializing in the back. Staff members were not well groomed, with outfits that didn’t not look professional whatsoever. When we walked in two people came to help, one was friendly but the other couldn’t be bothered. When I asked for extra taziki he rolled his eyes. I wanted to eat my meal there, as we sat and ate, we noticed how disgusting the floor was, and there were flies everywhere with both the back and front door open. There was also heavy metal music playing which was not enjoyable. I also found a short black hair in my chicken. Whoever the owner is needs to know that it is uncomfortable for customers to be in this environment. When I left, I walked to the car in the back parking lot to see all 4 staff members socializing, one was in his car trying on new shoes, while the other was vaping. Hopefully he cleaned his hands before returning to work. It is sad this happened because I am from north providence and will be telling my family and friends about this.

What a great and fresh place to eat at! Everything is made fresh to order with extra loving care. They have wraps, salads, burgers, as well as sides. Their choices for kids meals are sure to please.

We have been going to fresh pita for years. I really like their food and service. I am only writing this review because I feel like the business should be aware of how their food is being served. I recently ordered a Turkey burger and while eating it realized it was completely raw on the inside. It’s not safe for their customers, and their cooks need to be trained on how long to cook meat so their customers do not get food poisoning.

First off, the food did taste delicious. Upon walking in it felt very unwelcoming, was not greeted just kind of started at. I could tell the 2 staff’s group of friends were hanging there and it felt like I was walking in on their hangout and I got stared at by them. The place itself appeared very dirty and not somewhere I would ever consider sitting down to eat. Upon walking up to the counter that had the open food for them to make salads/wraps, there were multiple flies landing in all the food, as the front door was propped open and there were no coverings at all for any of the food. Back to the staff, it was a couple young boys not at all professionally dressed (there should be a uniform or at least brand t shirt but there was not) and they didn’t seem to want to be there. My salad was being made, and at that time another customer got in line behind me. A ‘friend’ came out of the bathroom and stopped and made a face at us customers and looked at her friends and said ‘what the hell’ and gestured at us, as if we were intruding on a meeting. It made me feel super uncomfortable. The only music playing was heavy metal. Like serious heavy metal. That made me feel even more uncomfortable. At this time the falafels for my salad are frying so I’m waiting a bit which is fine, and the group of friends decided they needed some food. So they all ended up behind the counter making food. So I’m guessing maybe they were actually employees? It was all really weird as I couldn’t tell who worked there and who didn’t, as this group was all sitting socializing at a table when I walked in. Now they’re working making food? Not sure…

Great food, my wife and I ordered the beef wrap and pita chips was very good. Every time I’m here the owner is is very caring and concerned about making sure the customer gets great service. I can’t recommend the food enough.
