Awesome place to get shawarma, hummus, and fresh pita. Salim, the owner, was super nice and welcoming and the staff overall were just wonderful. Prices are reasonable for the delicious food you get and portion sizes are large (see pics!). Highly recommend this place if in Cleveland Park!

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Great tabouli, very fresh and high quality olive oil. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and even had a wonderful texture. The baklava was crispy and not overly sweet. This would def be a go to place to eat if I lived here.

I order food from here regularly, and I’ve dined in once. I’m a vegetarian and can’t speak to the kabobs, but I absolutely love the baba ganouj and hummus. Both are garlic heavy and delicious. The falafels are better than average and always fresh. The caeser dressing tastes homemade, and I like the other salads too. The prices are low and the servings are large.

I stopped here with my two young sons because we like to try pizza all around the city. A search for pizza nearby as we were leaving Rock Creek Park yielded this place and one review raved about their pizza. The pizza wasn’t greasy (as pizza goes), but had a really greasy taste. The sauce or bread was really sweet. I was really hoping it would be better.

I cannot speak enough AMAZING things about this locally owned establishment! We had the chicken platter….YUM! Owners are super nice and helpful, located north of the Zoo right near the Metro stop. HIGHLY recommend you stop in here!
