I love the food they have on campus here, but recently, their vegetables have been way overdone with black pepper. Honestly, I don’t think that vegetables like Broccoli or Zucchini need pepper at all. If they added like a small dab or no black pepper at all to them, their veggies would be perfect.

Multiple times I have walked in with them serving stuff that wasn’t on the menu in the front. I have had rice that tastes like dirt, moldy and/or hard bread, I’ve had plates and bowls multiple times that have been dirty, even ones they have served me. Hair has been in my food many times, and as well while some of the staff are nice, this one lady blocks the ID scanner like I’m gonna steal a meal swipe or something. This place sucks, and no it’s not even good during breakfast time. Place either needs a full work up or needs to be shut down.

Food is pretty good here, if you eat at the specific meal times. However, thier “transition time ” from lunch to dinner sucks. I come here after class to get a late lunch, and they say they have plenty of pizza and the other all day items and they constantly have none of it when i come in. No pizza is available, as no one is making it. Waste of a meal swipe. Other than that a good place to eat.

Fresh Foods always has a wide selection of healthy and great tasting food. The desserts are pretty good too.

Don’t listen to the entitled ungrateful princesses in the comments. Fresh is by far my favorite place to eat on campus. There food is so good with different entree including soups, salads, meats Sam witches. Wraps, pizza and deserts. They have so many options and the guy up front is one of the nicest people. I have been over 20 times and never had a bad experience.

I eat here almost everyday for breakfast. In the past two days, I have come in, and there have not been any clean cups to use. I have had hairs in my scrambled eggs multiple times. As well as it takes a lot longer to get food than it did last semester. However, I do like most of the staff. It is just not as good as it was last semester. Also, I ate better food at basic training than I eat here. The eggs are not real that they serve, and I wish they served hard boiled eggs that were warm. I basically pay $7 for about one potato, an apple, and artificial scrambled eggs. One of the only reasons I eat here is because It is mandatory to have flex dollar, so WKU can make even more money than it already does. And It is close because I have more classes.

So I currently attend western and decided that I was going to update my meal plan to the all access meal plan. Not sure if it had loaded on to my card yet I went to fresh to see if it would work. After seeing that it didn’t work me and a manager (with a cashier as witness) had talked about it and tried to figure it out but we couldn’t figure out why it didn’t work. So the manager told me I could eat free that Saturday and on the following Sunday until it got figured out. He said he’d write my name down and it would be taken care of. I was happy knowing that I would at least get to eat during the weekend until I came in on Sunday….. I spoke to a cashier thinking she would know what I was talking about when I explained my situation. Since she didn’t know I asked her to go get a manager to see if they knew what I was talking about but nope no one knew. It was because of the male manager that was there 2-3 o’clock in the afternoon. He told me he would tell everyone about it but did he? Nope. None of the managers knew about my situation and the offer that was given to me. So here I sit upset and embarrassed because the manager did not do what he promised.

First time here, came during breakfast, the omelette lady was very forward about getting my attention and then proceeded to make an awesome omelette for me. I enjoyed the selection of pastries offered and saw that all the other breakfast foods were well represented. I doesn’t have the glitz of a franchise joint, but it looks to get the job done. Don’t come in at closing though, just like any other restaurant your going to regret it. #270

I go here every day for breakfast because it’s the only thing that’s open, but it seems that the cooks aren’t morning people. The food is hit or miss. Normally it’ll be palatable and I can leave with a clean plate, but sometimes the food just isn’t prepared properly. Hard biscuits and gravy, bland eggs, mushy pancakes, burnt French toast, undercooked fries, you name it, there’s way to mess it up. I can’t give it one star because of the omelette lady. She has a genuine passion for the food and the customers. Go see the omelette lady, skip the rest of the stations.
