Founded in 2017, Fresh Box started off with a sibling duo obsessed with food and bringing good food to the community. Already having brought good hot pot with Steamboat to Concord, we knew we had to introduce good California poke to our city when we couldn’t find one nearby.

Very friendly staff, it was easy to order and the poke was great. Also ordered a matcha latte which was equally good and at a great price. I recommend getting it to-go on hotter days because it was hot in the restaurant not sure if they don’t have AC or just don’t use it but it was uncomfortably warm.

Does not follow instructions. No dry toppings or sauce were provided in two of the orders that I got even though I have selected those options. There was no long line and still got the order wrong, I wonder what happens when there are long lines. The other poke place at the Sunvalley Mall is way better and cheaper.

I used to order all the time until I found particles that looked like glass in my food. I never get dry toppings so there was no reason for any of my food to be crunchy and when I bit down I felt a crunch like glass. I spit my food out immediately and I found a little piece of what looked like glass. Phew I hope everyone is chewing their food well.

Lots of options at this Poke Place, and I don’t think they skimp on the toppings either. I’ve gone a couple times now and both times the bowl was consistent and fresh tasting. One of my new faves.

More and more poke places have been popping up this year, but Fresh Box continues to be my favorite. They have good sauces, consistent quality, and good prices. Sometimes they don’t chop their fish up small enough, but that is my only complaint. Such a great place!

They definitely don’t skimp. The quality of the ingredients is really good. We really enjoyed it. The gal who helped us was really nice. We went in 30 minutes before close, you can tell them we’re extremely tired.
