My family and I were promptly net at the door to seat us. Our server was there to follow up quickly. Not s huge menu but good stuff on it. My wife got the Jam burger and it was amazing. Son got the stream engine and it was amazing as well. I got the Philly, and the Philly was GOOD but the bread was super thick and room temperature so it cooled the best down and it wasn’t hot. I’m just being picky though. I’d definitely come back. Thanks FYG!

Found this great little restaurant while visiting Murphy, NC. Wow! Great food and friendly folks! Wife and I totally enjoyed our visit to FYG! They even had bingo on Tuesday night, free or charge. We split a steak Philly with onion rings and a dinner salad. Food was spot on and affordable. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will go back next time we’re in town.

Great place! The couple of whiny 1-star reviews here are ridiculous and the exception to the rule if they’re even true- this place consistently does it right. Now with outdoor dog friendly patio….always great food, service and adult libations. It’s a little gem in the mountains and we locals are thankful it’s here. There aren’t that many options around and very few measure up to Freight Yard Grill.

Nice neighborhood restaurant and full bar with 6 beers on tap. I had a burger with pulled pork and fries and a Buckbald brewed IPA. Good food, friendly staff and I left “stuffed” and happy. I like the location out of downtown and close to home.

Sundays, they’ve got wings $1 a piece, with many traditional and new/creative flavors. If you like some sweetness to your wings, I highly recommend their peach bourbon option. It’s a nice, smaller sports bar with plenty of tvs, a good atmosphere, and fantastic service. Also, I’ve never actually had them, but their onion rings look incredible.
