100 year old building on an already 100 degree+ day, made it very warm but the server was nice and kept my drink full, food was good and kitchen kept the food coming. We didn’t have to wait long between appetizers and entrees. Celebrating our anniversary, no one asked if it was a special event or visit. Daughter was never offered a kids menu, not sure if they had one. The heat made it difficult to enjoy to the full extent.

Everything from the crackers and cheese to the cocktails and the dessert was dynamite. I see why the Sara Bradley is on Top Chef. We loved our waiter, the bartender was so good. The interior is nice. There was no wait to be seated. Such a great meal and dine in experience overall!! 10/10 would return!

Fabulous dinner and evening. We came specifically to congratulate chef Sara and had a wonderful dinner. Icing on the cake? Her pea cake from the top chef 20 finale. My favorite was the pasta, with added pork belly. Just meltinyourmouth delicious.

This was the best experience I have had in a restaurant setting. We sat at the chefs table and got to watch all the happenings in the kitchen as well as Chef Sara running things and mentoring her staff. We were able to ask the kitchen staff questions, and they were awesome! The food was more than delicious. Everything we had was seasoned perfectly. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. The cocktails Inwish Incould have had one of each. They’re oustanding! I even got a signed menu so I can frame it for my kitchen with our picture! I highly recommend taking a car, plane, train, bike , scooter to Freight House in Paducah, Kentucky as a destination! After dinner we purchased a cocktail in a sip and stroll cup (that is what I am calling it) and was able to walk along the river/flood wall looking at the murels painted and enjoy the breeze. This was suggested by Chef Sara! Overall, I can not say enough. We will be back!

We visited right after work before the dinner rush and were seated immediately. Such a fun place! The menu changes seasonally to provide the best tasting ingredients from local farmers. I highly recommend the Sara’s Dirty Deed cocktail. It was the best cocktail I’ve ever had.

Oh my ❤️ We went to see Sara because we were Fans of hers from Top Chef!! She was so friendly and warm. She poured her mushroom soup for us, just like on Top Chef It was delicious. I had the catfish with succotash. Wow! It was so good! AND Pea cake! And just like Padma said, “It was an inspiration.” Go to the Freight House!

We made our own tasting menu from Sara Bradley’s summer menu. Starting with tomato salad and pecan brown sugar ribs, we moved to watermelon gazpacho then enjoyed parisian gnocchi and grilled shrimp. Everything unique and super tasty. We finished the meal with the summer fruit cobbler — sweet-tart with stone fruit, berries and a cannel of vanilla ice cream. YUM! We walked back along the Paducah history murals, by the river. Great evening and even said thank you directly to Sara as we walked out. (And the cocktails were delicious too!)

Really really loved my experience at Freight House! I enjoyed everything I ordered. The staff was super friendly as well! I got the grilled caesar, smoked fish dip, BBQ egg roll, crab tostada and whooped goat cheese fluff.
