It’s been around since the 1950’s, it has the original sign which I think it cool. I live down the street and it’s a great place to grab a quick dinner. We get a scoop of ice cream after. They’re friendly and food is made fresh.

I’ve been coming here for 35 years. Always been my favorite in town! Had several new owners over the years, but still the same time after time. I do wish they’d go back to having orange sherbert all the time! Keep up the good work!

Need a new recipe for their sloppy joe. The only way I found theirs palatable was to add dill pickle slices & lots of ketchup. They’ll give you a small container of it if you ask which is enough for two. You have to ask for the pickles as well. Get both on the side…just in case you don’t like the S.J. plain. Their hot chicken sandwich is only so-so…2 ☆s @ most. I’ve never had their ice cream but expect to try @ another stop.
