The first stop on our Detroit Pizza Tour was uniquely New York/New Jersey style. Thin and crispy topped with fresh basil. The high quality ingredients shine. Solid 8.5 out of 10 and the best of the trip in my opinion. The owner is a great personality and his staff is stellar.

Fredi is the man. He makes the absolute best pizza in all of Michigan. My personal favorite is the pepperoni. But you can never go wrong with the Margherita pizza. The Goulash is some of the best I’ve ever had as well. Honestly what’s not good here. Everything fredi does for special needs makes coming down worth it every time. Make the drive down and get a pizza or 5. Seating inside and outside available and lots of street parking.

Delicious NYC style pie in Michigan! Can’t believe I haven’t been here until now. The pizza sauce, crust, and fresh basil are definitely worth the drive. Everyone was super friendly and nice, and it’s one of those spots that make you feel a sense of home. The mafia movie nerd in me appreciated all the nods to famous characters/ movies on the menu and walls. The nerd nerd in me appreciated the arcade games. Come early, once they sell out- they’re done.

My son and I stopped in to Fredi’s on our way to WWE Summerslam at Ford Field. The pizza is out of this world. So good and truly the best I’ve ever had! The vibes in that place are very welcoming and friendly. Fredi looked pretty busy making the best pizzas ever but he took a moment to acknowledge my Jaws t-shirt and told me a little story on how he saw it in theaters. He even took the time to take a pic with us. Great guy! Amazing pizza! We will make it a point to stop in anytime we are close!

Hands down THE top nyc style pizza around southeast michigan. Come in/grab a ticket at your left/ menu at your front/ the less toppings; honestly the better. Only supinos is close to this quality and they are an army of people in their kitchen vs fredi. Pizza ain’t cheap and it tastes like it. I always eat half the pizza b4 I even pull off.
