We stopped into Frederick’s on a whim and I’m so glad we did! The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a snowy and cold afternoon. The warm hearth and exposed beams added to the tavern like feel. Our food was delicious! I was a little concerned about the price but when our order came out it was a very generous portion which helped justify the price. My wife had the Fred Special and it was fantastic! Don’t pass up this great spot next time you’re in town!

On a recent trip to the region, stopped in to this joint with a party of several in the early evening. Service, facilities and especially ATTITUDES, were not acceptable. Food took over an hour to come out and was absolutely awful. Received partial credit on bills but they seriously need to learn some table manners and clean up the facilities!

Atmosphere was nice on a rainy night. New England Clam chowder was awful and chicken tenders so hard that I could hardly crunch through the fried coating. My partner had a Fred’s special sandwich ( which was a bunch of hard meat cubes on a Kaiser roll with cheese) and waitress asked if he wanted fries with it, not mentioning they were extra. .They cost an additional $6.00 which came as a surprise.
