Chain fast food eatery from Kansas that’s worth trying. While living in Kansas City, I saw a lot of Freddy’s and def wanted to try before leaving the Midwest. The environment is almost a classic diner with fixtures from the 1950-60s era. The highlight is def the custard and fries with the seasoning and sauce. The steak burger are char grilled and flattened with flavor. I absolutely loved the skinny fries and the seasoning. Definitely a treat when you can find one!

First and last time I will ever eat there. The food was way overpriced for the quality of the food and service was straight terrible. First off the establishment was extremely dirty. I explained to the staff the Dr Pepper didn’t taste right and it’s like they didn’t care. So when I decided to order shakes since the soda wasn’t drinkable I told them that’s why I was ordering them and they didn’t care at all. They didn’t offer any type of compensation or anything. The shakes are small for the price: I paid over $15 for two medium chocolate shakes and one large chocolate shake. The fries were over cooked and way over salted. I might as well of dumped a packet of salt in my mouth. I stood their waiting quite while waiting for the shakes while two employees were busy flirting with each other or whatever instead of working. The female employee that was talking to other employee was drinking a McDonald’s slushy right in the kitchen area where food is prepared. I only saw two employees working which they were busting their butts trying to prepare orders while the others were just standing around.

The custard ice cream is freaking amazing. BUT response to the drive thru speak to place orders is always a 7-minute wait, even with no one in line. Every triple waffle cone is never the same size, waffles cones are broken in the paper and the employees act as if we are a bother. If I could go elsewhere for custard ice cream, I would.

Had the worst experience at the Paducah KY location. I love Freddy’s but was my first time at this location. It was SO DIRTY. And the whole entire staff including the manager looked very confused the whole time. Then my friends order took over 30 minutes so she goes to check on it and they had totally forgot it. Worst experience ever. It was my friends first experience and I talked it up so disappointing.

Our burgers were really good. The kid’s meal was as big as the adult meal. One tip – if you want one of the Oreo ice cream cookies, order and pay for it with your meal and get it out of the freezer after you finish. It’s cheaper that way (than buying it afterwards). I took off a star because of the ice cream we got. 2.99 for a cone with one small scoop (that didn’t even fill up the cone) is pricey.
