Swing by Fred & Larry’s while on a work trip in Beech Mountain, NC it was great! This shop has a wonderful vibe and great staff helped me out. I tried a delicious Iced Chai Latte and would definitely recommend you try this place out if your around the Banner Elk/ Sugar/ Beech Mountain area. They had tasty looking fresh baked goods that I would like to try if I’m ever in the area again!

This review is actually for my wife as I’m not a coffee fan. My wife likes to support local coffee shops when traveling. She tried the lavender praline oat latte. She should have tried something else as she said this latte was horrible and very overpowering. I wanted her to take it back, however, she said the lady wasn’t the most friendly so she would just try to drink it to avoid an issue. For $9.00, it should’ve been amazing! The atmosphere was very relaxing but it did feel like a place for locals and maybe not the most inviting for tourists.

My friend and I stopped here while staying on Beech Mountain. It was great. The girls working were very friendly, and the drinks we got were delicious. I got an iced latte with cookie dough syrup, and she got a cold brew with Irish cream and almond milk. There are lots of different flavors to choose from, and we recommend stopping by!

This is by far the best coffee house I’ve been to. The staff is super friendly, the coffee is stellar and just overall vibe is a check.

What a gem! This small business deserves your support! Not only is their coffee amazing – fresh ground beans; smooth and flavorful combinations – but they also support local artisans. From the artwork on the wall to the fresh baked pastries, it’s all a great tribute to the hard working effort of everyday people. Love it!

Coffee was good. We got an iced latte and a frappe. I was a bit shocked when our total for two drinks was just shy of $16. I love supporting local all, but probably won’t go back.

We are visiting and I love to visit good coffee shops and was excited to visit this one. I hate to complain about a local business, but it was a disappointment. The local pastries are plastic wrapped and not very fresh. My mum specifically asked if the muffin was fresh today and told yes, and it did not taste fresh. Also be aware the prices on the website are out of date and it is much more expensive now. Also, the coffee is only served in paper takeaway cups even if you are sitting down.

Haven’t been here since I went to LMC. I was born and raised here and I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about this place and the owners. Since I hadn’t been in years, thought I’d pop in. The girl at the counter was very helpful in listing the ingredients and helping make a selection. (They were out of what I came for.) Unfortunately, my Frappè was watery with little to no ice nor flavor. The girl was working hard and had other customers so just thought I’d share my experience and not Karen her. $7 drink + $2 tip = disappointment
