Booked Frascati after searching for a special restaurant while in San Francisco. Frascati did not disappoint. The local, small-town, home-owned feeling was evident right away; no doubt they have regulars. We sat downstairs and could see the trolley pass by. We had the Octopus Salad, which was amazing and the Fresh Fettuccine with Bolognese. It was THE BEST we have ever eaten…Fresh, flavorful, delectable.

Loved Frascati! We’re traveling from out of town and it was the best meal we’ve had…and the service was impeccable and the owners gave a special touch for my husband’s birthday. I highly recommend the gnocchi, the watermelon salad, the steak and the pork chop. Everything was so tasty. This will be our regular spot when we are in town.

While walking in the streets on Russian Hill two weeks ago I came across this little place Frascati which immediatly got my attention. Later in the day I got a booking for a table and in the evening we enjoyed our dinner served by our Swiss-compatriot waiter from the Wallis with French conversation! The food, in particular the Risotto was cooked to perfection and starter and desert have been delicous. A nice and small local place in a off-touristic area, to recommend!

Came here for a light dinner and had a very enjoyable time. The restaurant has some character and good but intimate vibe. The gnocchi starter was delicious. I also tried the octopus salad, which was nicely prepared. Service was attentive.

What a lovely neighborhood restaurant! The atmosphere was perfect. Not too loud or quiet. The food was perfection. We had the pork chop and the roast chicken and were very happy. We also loved the grilled bread salad. We will be back for sure. Check it out! It’s a classic.

Totally awesome. Quaint and quiet neighborhood restaurant. Yelp said no reservations were available but we walked in and there was lots of seating. Sidewalk was a great outdoor spot on this hot Saturday.
