I have been eating Yalas now Fran’s and Eliseo’s pizza for the last 40 years and I have to say that there is no other pizza, and I have had a lot of pizza, that even comes close to theirs! Just attempted to order pizza for my family tonight. I was going to pay with cash when picking up. The woman on the phone told me they’re not taking cash. And I would have to give out my full credit card details over the phone. Sounds like a complete scam to me. I even offered to just hand her the credit card when picking up. She still refused saying that they’re not currently taking transactions. Without telling me why. Going to avoid ordering from this place for the next while. Getting Pizza Hut instead.

Ordered a large cheese pizza to pick up tonight. We get to the drive through window to pick it up and the girl at the counter says “large pepperoni pizza?”. My fiancé tells her we actually ordered a cheese pizza. So she tells us okay and walks away. She comes back, we pay her, and she hands us our pizza. THANKFULLY I checked the box. They decided to simply pick the pepperoni off of our pizza and give it back to us like we wouldn’t notice. So we told the girl at the counter that we couldn’t accept the pizza because I’m a vegetarian and there is clearly still pepperoni on it. I can’t believe the laziness and lack of customer service that was displayed tonight. Will not be back.

Yeah, I don’t get changing the iconic name from Yalas to Fran’s, it’s like changing McDonald’s to Jimmy’s but whatever. Their pizza didn’t change, it’s still the best I’ve ever had!

Iconic Lorain pizza. The Mt. Rushmore of Lorain County pizza will most certainly include the legendary Eliseo DeSantis. Fresh, hot, delicious. Everything you want in a hometown pizza place. Pizza like this is the reason corporate pizza has such a tough time in this market. And I couldn’t be happier.
