I was very excited to go bc crinkle cut french fries are my favorite! Unfortunately, the grease that they were fried in tasted old. Either that or they were refried. If you’re gonna screw up something so simple, why try anything more elaborate? Not a fan!

I gave it a 3 not only because of the food, but because of the staff. Attitude wasn’t that great. They weren’t pleasant. Food was ok, lack of flavor with the fried seafood made it a 3 star. Nothing out of this world. Fries were good though.

Excellent fish and chips; very fresh and crispy. First time customer and will return. I must say they were extremely busy but worked so hard to get the food out. It took a few extra minutes but didn’t t mind. It was well worth the wait.

We were regulars. Three times in a row, over 3 weeks, they got the order wrong. We stopped going for a couple of months. Figured that maybe it was better now. Not. They messed up our order again. While waiting for it to be ready, 2 other customers had orders that were wrong. When they get it wrong, they are not at all apologetic. The employees are rude and don’t care. We won’t be back.

Not sure why people boast about this place. I guess because its been here for a while. Overly battered seafood, when I asked to lightly batter my order the fellow looked at me and mocked me as if Im asking to drizzle some truffle oil on my order. The staff are passive aggressive. Honestly, its really not that great. I don’t see anything special. I’d come back for the third time when all other seafood place closed down. No, thank you.

The food is very good!! Not greasy whatsoever. It’s no wonder they’ve been there 50 years! I always get the whole clams (nice small sweet bellies) and the fresh onion rings! For drinks… Raspberry Rickey and the ice cream frappes!!! Like subs? Try the pastrami WOW! And the veal sub is the REAL veal not a processed Patty. But most of all the prices are small and portions big!
