Bad. Really bad. We ordered 3 “Red Lady” sandwiches and a build your own. The “Red Lady’s” were pre made and pulled out of a refrigerator. The Sun Dried Tomato Aoli saturated the bread and made the bread so soggy. For over $52, this place was a JOKE, it wasn’t fresh and was a huge disappointment. We threw them away. We went to the market next door and bought everything we needed to make sandwiches and they were MUCH better than what we paid good money for at Frank’s.

I already love their prepared foods (chicken salad, pasta salad) and baked goods, but they really outdid themselves with this beautiful carrot cake! So pleased with the decoration and delicious cake, this will be my go-to for celebrations going forward.

We came here twice…in four days, to “get our grub” for our highly anticipated hikes. Once we had our first sandwiches on day one…we just had to come back the next morning. Their freshly baked breads are the bomb! We chose the 14er, and the Buzz…damn good sandwiches for sure… which added so much value to our damn good picnic spots! Highly recommend this deli. I really wanted to love Frank’s, but my sandwich order was wrong and the slice of lemon cake that I was very much looking forward to was extremely dry and bland. The top layer of the cake was nearly crunchy and inedible. I was really hoping for more of a punchy lemon flavor, but it did not deliver. Sandwich had the wrong cheese and veggies. On a positive note the pasta salad was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I’ll go back and give them another shot.

We loved this mom and pop deli. Fresh delicious food, friendly staff. We felt welcome right away. Loved their Hungarians mushroom soup even my toddler and tween approved it! We would definitely come back whenever we are in Crested Butte! Highly recommended!

On a busy Saturday my kids and I happened to see this deli open and we skipped the long wait at the “transitional restaurants” in town and we were SO IMPRESSED!! Frank has great meal options, well beyond a transitional sandwich shop. Meatloaf, fresh pasta salad, desserts, wonderful soup…and even kombucha on tap! To say we were impressed is putting it mildly. Well worth the fair pricing, and Frank himself was very personable and conversational. Stop here for great food and a good environment for sure, and avoid the overcrowded spots down the road. We will be back FOR SURE!

I got a custom sandwich with lots of upgrades. However, I think if in the area again I’d double my amount of meat as I’m a huge meat person. They have about a dozen meat options, veggies, sauses and sides foe your sandwich.

This is my favorite quick lunch spot. The sandwiches are amazing (especially the Red Lady and 14er) and the Hot Pressed Tortilla is a favorite. You can call ahead and make it a quick pick up. I have also used their catering service several times and have been very impressed with the food and service. Frank is a long time CB local. Thank you for running such a great deli!

Awesome deli with a great owner! Met Frank riding the ski lift and came at the suggestion of a good friend and CB local. Sandwiches were stacked and delicious, dessert was incredible, highly recommend the carrot cake! Will definitely be back here anytime I am in Crested Butte
