Good atmosphere for a social experience. Lots of outdoor seating. We were there for hours. They have a nice bar with a variety of drinks. They were out of duck tacos but that looked appealing.

The food from the food truck is top notch and unbeatably cheap. Awesome local brews. Great spot. And dog friendly!

I was visiting Chapel Hill for the day and decided to walk up Franklin and check out a few bars/restaurants. This was my favorite stop. Chill vibes and had 20+ beers on tap. Indoor/outdoor seating with a few people who brought their doggos to hangout. They also had a food truck with basic bar bites like sliders and fries that were delicious. 5 stars!

I’m a vegetarian. I went to Franklin Motors because I’m new in town and decided to try their vegetarian option. The burger and fries both tasted like pork sausage. The fries were very salty.

Cider tasted yeasty— like they didn’t clean out their lines when changing over their drafts. Also ordered food at the bar because food truck was on vacation. 30 minutes later asked where our food was and they told us it “didn’t go through” but they fixed it. Went back another 20 minutes and went back. And they “didn’t have our order and they are no longer serving food.” Are you kidding me?? The worst service I’ve ever had at a brewery. Will not be going back

literally the sweetest and smartest bartenders! teri and sarah make the best team theyre so quick, friendly, and fair. they always make me feel welcome and wonderful. thank god for those girls. I also love how I never have to worry if one of the patrons Im flirting at the bar is 21 or not because they always ask for IDs and following all NC alcohol laws.

Went to the soft opening and had a great experience. The food was very tasty (had the bratwurst, hand pies and pimento cheese). Great vibe and loved the second floor deck and outdoor spaces for hanging out. Will definitely be coming back!

I have been several times but the most recent time is my last. I went with a group of friends of mine, some of whom were international students. I was not carded by the staff. I am generally not carded by staff when I go and have seen plenty of others not carded by staff in the past. My buddy, who is an international student, was carded and unfortunately only had a foreign drivers license. We subsequently gave him a sip of a drink to try and be nice (he is 28) and he was promptly kicked out by an incredibly rude staff member. I will never give my business to people who racially profile. Especially disappointed considering how friendly and open most people seem to be in Chapel Hill.

Great place to grab a beer or beverage of choice and perhaps some small bites from their permanently affixed food truck to complete the visit. FM is an eclectic locale for game viewing and gatherings especially in the warmer months of the year. A friendly staff is there to serve at your discretion. This place checks all the boxes and then some. If you’ve never been I highly recommend you put your must visit list for things to do while in Chapel Hill.

Didn’t get anything to eat. There is a food truck/grill here. Good beer selection. It was a great night weather wise and we went up top to the deck and had a few drinks. Really cool place especially when the weather is nice.
