This was stop on the Dublin food tour and one of the ones that were most surprising because I hadn’t heard of this place and didn’t know what they served. The sandwich was good. The bagel chip was ok and the pimento spread was fine. The menu items are film inspired which was neat.

Honestly one of the best vegetarian subs I’ve had. The heavily marinated veggies is what made the Randy Watson sub sandwich/hoagie so solid – great flavor and delicious. The owner was so kind to us while there too. He has an amazing sense of pride for his establishment which comes through in the food. Plenty of casual and communal bench seating, alcohol (liquor, wine and beer) and housemade sides. The spot was a little hard to find with no hanging sign, so head a smidge North of the Roosevelt Room and it’s on the same side of the street.

Fantastic sandwich! I had the Big Dainty and it was delicious. The pastrami was top notch, well topped sandwich, on a soft and delicious sub style bun. I will be back soon to try more of their sandwiches.

Won’t hesitate to return. Good sandwiches with a solid variety. Didn’t expect to see such a great whisky selection, probably 30-40 bottles. Awesome service, quick and friendly. The only big downfall is they could use a bigger location. Good vibe but it felt cramped. I’d love to go for a longer visit and have a few drinks, but you feel bad doing that with the few number of seats they have.

Wow! The staff was so kind and very personable. The food speaks for itself. Just take a look at the photos! The food was superb and the prices are reasonable. If you haven’t tried Frank & Carl’s, then you should soon.

I don’t find myself in Dublin often but a meeting had me near Bridge Park around lunch this afternoon. I’ve heard good things about Frank and Carl’s so I decided to give them a go. A couple sandwiches caught my eye and I asked the guy at the counter (maybe the owner?) about them. He sold me on the Tizzlesticks when he told me that he learned the authentic chimichurri recipe from an Argentinan acquaintance, I love me a good Chimi!

Food is certainly fresh but the employees don’t care to make things correctly AT ALL. Maybe it was a bad day? Maybe super busy after the street market. Regardless, I asked for no tomatoes and of course they were packed on. The amount of meat was minimal, barely one slice of each. Then I was expecting and awesome peppery Mayo, but the sandwich was dry as a bone.

Was looking for some breakfast one morning and noticed this place had a breakfast sandwich called the Shooter McGavin. Being a fan of the film Happy Gilmore I had to go. I was not disappointed.

Was not a huge fan of the mac and cheese but would like to come back and try one of their delicious sounding bagels. Wish there were some non alcoholic beer options.
