I work for the Football Team at the University of New Haven. We recently made two large orders that were very well done. It was completed for us in a timely and organized manner while also accommodating any requests or changes we needed to make throughout the week up until the day we arrived at our hotel. The staff was also very helpful upon our arrival to pick up our order. Our staff and players enjoyed the meals that Gianni’s had provided us with and we would gladly order from them again in the future.

Very good lunch in a no frills atmosphere. Food always delicious, the eggplant parmesan is my favorite of all places I have tried. Crispy bread, nice salad. Huge Sicilian pizza, thick but light crust. Wine and beer available with limited variety. Very accommodating service.

7 in our party, all great food. I have veal parm, friend had eggplant Parm but no cheese, they were happy to make it. Vegetable pizza looked amazing too.

There may be more “trendy” places, but for yummy, family-style Italian food, Franco’s is our favorite for dine-in or takeout. Staff is always friendly and the food is dependable and delicious. The dining room renovations are lovely….and when it was warmer, so nice to have the option to eat outside. Best casual Italian restaurant in the area!
