Nice solid no frills taiwanese breakfast joint! Best item we tried was the bean curd with braised flavor. The radish cakes with egg was a close second. We also got non-sweetened soy milk and peanut-soy milk, with a side of Chinese donut aka 油条(i swear these things get translated 10 different ways,my favorite is the literal one, oil-sticks). Compared to Yi mei in Rowland this one feels a bit cleaner.

Their waitresses were unable to understand English/Mandarin, especially the one who worked at the register today. Not quite sure if she intended to give customers a hard time. Better get some training on respecting others and Mandarin listening & speaking skills. 蛋饼能故意听成大饼,也是心眼够坏的

Janky interior but you’ll feel like you’re in China. Authenticity points. You order before you sit and it’s cash only. This is really solid place for Taiwanese style breakfast. You should try their soy milk and fried cruller or fried Chinese donut. Also get fried egg variants whenever you can. Yum. Good value for the price. Expect to bus your own table to a martyr dirty table.

Great place to have famous Taiwanese style breakfast. Tabletop adhesiveness is a feature that adds to its authenticity.

Iconic Taiwanese breakfast place. They got plenty of staple breakfast foods. Sadly over the years, inflation has caused the prices to go up by quite a bit.

My family and I visit this shop once every few years from Northern California and we love the variety of Taiwanese and Mandarin breakfast specialties found here. But each time we visit, we are disappointed to find half the tables in the dining room full of dirty dishes left from previous diners. It doesn’t seem to be a priority for employees to clear tables quickly to ensure a clean, comfortable environment for its dine-in patrons.

Radish cake’s wayyyyyyyy toooooooo delicious! I’ve never seen any making of radish cake like this, crisp and brown outside and absolutely tender and aromatic in your mouth. *Photo added on Dec 6th.
