The staff was very friendly and helpful. All the food looked absolutely amazing, and the chicken and waffles were fantastic. I appreciated that our waiter kept our waters full, and recommeded some great food for us to try. Desserts was sooo good. This is a go-to if you ever visit Elk Rapids! It was only a short walk from the marina, so it worked perfect to come by boat.

Very happy to have the Foundry join elk rapids, where we really needed more food options especially year round and open late for the people who work long hours. We’ve been there many times now since they first opened. Food is great, especially the sandwiches and fries (fish sandwich pic included). Flatbread was just okay though (could benefit from homemade dough). But service has been good and efficient everytime. We were really surprised how quickly they seemed to get everything together here, including staffing since everywhere else has had a hard time finding employees.

Prompt service on the patio right after we were seated. Our waiter was patient as we made our decisions. For a cocktail, the Iron Knight was an excellent choice! With Iron Fish bourbon, lemon, strawberry and ginger beer it was a perfect balance of sweet and sour for a summer night.

Stopped at Foundry while boating Lake Charlevoix and had excellent service and delicious food. View of marina and lake and great patio that made bringing our little dog in a bag easy. Thanks for a great meal!

We found this place walking around downtown Elk Rapids, the food smelled great! We were quickly seated, and our server Gabe was quick to get our every ask. He specifically recommended the Garlic Cheese Curds and oh MY gosh, they were amazing! I ordered the Cali BLT and my husband the Fish Tacos both were great meals and we were happy with our experience.

My husband and I ended up in Elk Rapids on a whim from our visit to Traverse City and saw that Foundry recently opened and decided to give it a shot and I’m glad we did! Our server, Izzy, was a really sweet girl and very attentive. My husband got the Popeye (chicken was very flavorful) and I got the Grease Monkey (cherries and cheese were delicious together) and we got the (handmade) cheese curds to split. Everything came out quickly (3:30pm on a Sunday) and very hot. Great place to stop in Elk Rapids!
