First time coming here, and really enjoyed it! The whole family loved it as well. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff were all very nice and friendly. We started out with a cheese plate with this wonderful shallot jam that really complemented the different cheese’s. It was so good I had to look up how to make my own haha. The Roast brussels sprouts with cheese the kids devoured! The clams were beautifully plated and the sauce was great with the charred house bread. All the entrées were just as good as the next. The Pork Milanese was breaded, and fried to perfection. The Duck Ragu was heaven with the porcini and cremini mushroom sauce. My mother got the whole roasted Branzino which was very moist, flaky, and seasoned great. We also shared two pizzas, the margarita pizza, and anchovy pizza. Both equally good! Love the capers on the anchovy pizza! Would highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing. Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance is fantastic. It’s also very affordable for such elevated cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere.

The calamari and house bread were delish to start, as well as a very nice Spritz. The duck ragu and gemelli were out of this world resembling almost a short rib in flavor. There are not enough stars for that dish, the calamari and the house bread. Great wine selection and music. We loved our server. Very sweet. I was born and raised in Roanoke but moved away for 30 years. I am used to Denver, Charlotte and St. Pete. This restaurant is top notch and definitely a keeper for me and my family. We will be back!

My bride and our favorite couple tonight. We got a bunch of stuff. The Duck Ragu, spaghetti carbonara, the pork Milanese, formaggi pizza, salumi, and formaggi. Holy, was this stuff good! The cheese on the formaggi tray was amazing. Small portions of cheese, but amazing. The Carbonara was a little rich, but very good… 2/4 at the table liked it. Highly recommend the Pork Milanese is stupid dumb good. Get it. The Salumi (aka. salami) tray is amazeballs. Seriously… Nothing we had was bad. Sarah, our server was AMAZING… Seriously, razzle dazzle! Great recommendations, well versed on the wine selection… Seriously, ask to sit in Sarah’s section.

A must stop at place for dinner. Food was cooked perfectly and my cocktail was the best i ever had! It was served in a chilled glass and 1 cube of ice…amazing!

Shoutout to the bartender tonight, who, though I ordered no booze, gave me the best service ever. They were so nice and funny and excellent at their job! I gave up drinking two years ago today and took myself out to celebrate. Delicious mocktail- spiced pineapple, kale salad might’ve been the best I’ve ever had, pasta with spicy fennel sausage and of course a tiramisu! It’s a bit loud in the restaurant, but it’s still got a great vibe. I will definitely be back for more yummy foods and drinks!

The best restaurant in the region with the very best cocktail bar is, well, the best for a reason.

First off, get the bread with ricotta then figure out what you want to order because the bread is legitimately amazing. Also get the Brussel Sprouts and dont let the “anchovy” part scare you. They were so good! The pizza was also very good and honestly the only thing we got that wasn’t “bomb” was the fingerling potatoes. They were “fine” but I wouldn’t recommend. My group had multiple trays of oysters and everyone really enjoyed them. We sat at the bar due to not having reservations and really enjoyed it, the bartender was great and made sure we were perfectly taken care of. FYI, they dont have flavored liquor if you are a coconut rum drinker, like myself. The entire staff was helpful and willing to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was clean and kept and that includes thier restrooms.

Sister restaurant to Lucky, Fortunato has some magnificent Northern Italian dishes and brick oven pizza to go with the excellent cocktails they serve to their patrons!

Overall we had a pretty good time at this place, started out a bit rocky at first (we think they forgot about our table), but it all worked out in the end.
