Came here yesterday with a party of 4 for dinner and had a fantastic time and the food and service were top-notch. Everything the whole party ate was delicious and the wait staff was amazing and literally watching each table like hawks and would come by to remove plates and replenish our wine glasses . The cocktails we tried were perfectly balanced and delicious, nothing was too sweet. I will definitely be back to try more of the entrees and appetizers.

4.55 stars from me. Fort & Oak is modern, tastefully contained with an open and indoor blended space which makes it very COVID safe, even now, and not overly loud although it can be quite crowded. Service is plentiful if not always convivial- in that the staff are abundant and skillful. They’re there to get the job done and they do it well.

Order the scallops. This place is awesome. It’s definitely nice and pricey though, so be prepared for a hefty check. The scallops, poke, caulini, pork chop are highlights. Great service. Order the scallops.

Pricey but delicious and worth it! Had the seafood tower and everything was fresh. The steak was nice and the charred broccoli was flavorful.

Really enjoyed our dinner experience at the bar the other night! The bartender and manager were super nice, and the food was worth returning for. Menu had fun and interesting cocktails, decent wine and beer selection, and upscale dinner options. The chicken liver mousse with the chicken fat hush puppies were DI-vine!!! Looking forward to another night where we can try other items.

The drinks were fantastic really loved the sting ray. Service was great and they make sure to explain each dish as they bring it out. Food was delicious however everything was a bit salty. We got the scallop aguachile, kanpachi ceviche, asian pear salad and clams & mussels. The design is great.

The food was amazing! Everything was really good. Loved the salad, ribeye, chicken pate, goat milk pasta, etc. The shrimp was overcooked. Come here with a group so you can try a bunch of stuff. The drinks were good but a little slow to get them. Definitely worth coming back again!

Uncomfortably cold dining experience: would have been better to sit on the patio as there were heat lamps out there. We asked a sever to turn on the heat and she claimed it was on but by the fact that everyone was wearing coats and the table next to us told her the same I call BS.

Fort Oak is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego. The drinks/food are always great but the staff is super friendly and kind. We had the grilled prawns and their burger (not pictured) but so delicious. The quality of food is Superb. Drinks are always spot on and if you don’t know what you want. They’ll make something you’ll like for sure! Definitely coming back once restaurant allow dine-in and want to check out brunch one of these days as well!

My date and I had an amazing experience here. Our waiter, Jeff N, was phenomenal. He is very knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations for wine pairings with our appetizers and entrees. Every dish, wine, and cocktail we had was well curated and delicious. The pork chop was very juicy and tender. The unique, modern decor provides the perfect ambiance for date night.
