Standard Army food. Nothing special. Anyone that gave this more than 2 stars probably only eats fast food.

The most impeccable Army dining experience available. Dinner and a show!

Once in a while the main course options may be dry because they haven’t kept the lids over the food sometimes during the warming process but they have put that back to practice as of late. It’s most likely someone else brought the issue to the staff.

I ate in this DFAC for 5 weeks. Some days, food was great, most days, food was ok. We were served bad/smelly, smelly beef roast, and spoiled milk on different days.

Really stretching for 3 stars here. Dining staff is really nice and proffessional. The food can be plain at times. And the fact that so many people go to this facility at the same time and it is usually packed that is not a good thing for how packed it gets. Would recommend another dining facility be opened to help accommodate the biggest issues.

Stepping into this particular dining facility is like stepping back into the early 90s. The layout is ancient, and not conducive two decent service. The two stars are for the people that work there, they did a good job, but due to the unimproved layout everyone is cramped from the people eating their to the workers themselves, and honestly the food is just not very good. We waited 20 minutes to get in for food and the seating is every bit as cramped as where you’re waiting in line itself, then you have to wait in line again just to put your trays in place to be washed. The entire place needs a complete renovation

As a guest visiting a soldier, I found the quality of the food very disconcerting. Every one of our family members’ meals were cold, tough, and appeared to be about 2 days old. I am very dismayed that this is the quality of food that is being provided to the men and women who are training and working to defend our country.

Pretty sure I had breakfast here one morning in May of 1988. I woke up with the worst Mad Dog 20/20 Orange Jubilee hangover. I was scheduled to do cleanup work at the HQ, so on the way over, I stopped for breakfast. I had a western omelet and I must say that it was the best western omelet that this Soldier had ever eaten. It even got rid of the “I’m going to throw up” feeling that I had from the Mad Dog hangover. Thank you Fort Rucker Dining Facility 2 you rock.

Besides from a deployment dfac, this is the best stateside dfac I’ve been to for a while. The staff goes above and beyond to even learn the name of people to welcome them when they walk in. Someone is doing something right by motivating this staff to show southern hospitality.
