Fork and Barrel was a lovely experience. On a previous visit, we stopped her for breakfast at Morning Fork, which we loved. We didn’t realize until we pulled into the parking lot that Fork and Barrel were in the same spot. They are two restaurants in one building. Check the website for hours for each. And try them both.

Overall, it was a great experience. The only downside was that both meals had a smoky smell and flavor to them. We ordered the Roasted 1/2 chicken and Braised Shirt Rib. Even the pita bread with the appetizer had a smoky burnt taste and smell. Would love to know why. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Great atmosphere.

I selected Fork & Barrel as a dinner celebration with one of my best friends for my birthday celebration. It did not disappoint and you can skip to the end to see what happened that made it special.

I enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant and the friendliness of the staff. The chef made it a point to stop by at all the tables as well. Overall we had a good time. The appetizers here were awesome! We got the hush puppies basket, deviled eggs and the Crab cake. The deviled eggs were the clear winners! They had a spicy, smoky sauce at the top which was extremely flavorful. The crab cakes left something to be desired.

My husband had the smash burger with pommes frites and it was excellent! The wedge salad, Bloody Mary deviled eggs and corn fritters were also very good. Service was attentive without being overbearing. John Michael took care of us and we had a lovely meal.

We had a table of 11 and the service Curtis provided was great. The drinks we done well, had an old fashion and an espresso martini. The spinach dip app was good and the Salomon was flavorful. The brownie banana foster was delightful and great to share.

My husband and I made reservations for their Harry Potter themed brunch, since I am a huge Harry Potter fan. We were not disappointed. The staff had gone all out decorating the restaurant and the chef came up with a fun, interesting menu just for this event. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. They were lemon poppy seed waffles with chicken sausage. Definitely different, but tasty none the less. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, which he inhaled. We split a treacle tart, which was amazing. The only downfall was the grits. They were bland and cold. But, the overall experience and the other food easily made up for them. We are planning on trying them again in the near future.

The shrimp and grits were delish! Nice patio options as well as attractive indoor seating. Enjoyed the wedge salad, French onion soup, and stroganoff too!
