We went out to eat as this new restaurant tonight and what a great surprise. The food was really good. Unique menu. I had the Grilled Brussel Sprouts and he had the Fried Chicken and Waffles. Prices were fair and it was pretty busy the entire time we where there. Great addition to Plattsmouth! We will be back for sure. The interior was really nicely redone. Great Vibes!

Since opening just a few weeks ago, Fork and hammer has become one of my absolute favorite date night spots! The burgers are juicy and amazing, the salmon is so fresh and full of flavor and don’t get me started on the chicken and waffles. And even though you are full from the best meal in the world, you should have some of the strawberry cake! I can not rave enough about it! Everyone needs so come and enjoy good southern food!

Southern inspired joint, with no sweet tea. A little pricey, but not unreasonable. I had the gumbo which is served with red beans and rice. The rice was severely undercooked, and I frequently hit very hard, uncooked grains of rice. Did not see any red beans, on the side or in the gumbo.

I ate the Cajun jambalaya Alfredo I think that is what it was called. It was good. Not really spicy. I was told I could make it less spicy if I wanted. It was very good and large portions. Enough for a few other meals. They were a bourbon bar and I saw them bring out some neat smoke filled covered drinks. I guess they also make smoked ice cream for one of their desserts. It is in Plattsmouth,NE 20 min from Omaha

Our first time at Fork and Hammer and we were very impressed! The Cajun Jambalaya Fettuccine was so flavorful and a huge portion that will last me sever meals. I’m very much looking forward to those left overs. The pork ribeye was hands down the best piece of pork we have had at a restaurant. It was cooked to perfect tenderness with a delicious seasoned char. Great friendly service and good cocktails too. We will soon be back to try the rest of the menu!

**AUTHENTIC Creole Cuisine, beautiful bourbon bar, stellar service from Monica. I mean, there isn’t anything negative i could possibly say about this place. Found it on accident and was NOT disappointed. If you want to know what Louisiana tastes like, you’re not going to find anywhere in Omaha that will compete with this place. Had to come leave a review. If you want Louisiana, stop by the Fork and Hammer, or go book a flight.

I ordered the Chicken Alfredo with a side salad and Hurricane to drink and a water. The Chicken was fabulously cooked and the Alfredo sauce was perfect with a nice cheese flavor. It was just perfect! I got my hurricane blended and it was just as perfect. The waitress kept coming to our table regularly to check on us, so I made sure to tip her extra. I will definitely go back and I would recommend this place to others.

My wife and I ate at the Fork and Hammer this past Saturday evening. This place prepared the best brisket I had all year, and even after saying that, that piece of meat was the 2nd best piece of meat on the table! I had the spicy pork ribeye, and it was fantastic! The other sides were equally amazing! The ambiance is nice, the service was pretty good, but as busy as it was, our server did the best she could. Get there early! If you get there after 530 pm you will wait in line.

We found this wonderful place from the 2021 Nebraska Passport and couldn’t recommend it enough! I have a severe shellfish allergy and our waitress, Monica, was phenomenal in handling our order. The main cook even came to our table and explained how he would accommodate us. Monica was attentive and made our visit an absolute blast. 10/10
