Sometimes the best food can be found in small, quaint, unexpected places… Go. Try the bourbon pork chops! The frog legs are definitely worth stopping for. The perch and smothered burritos were amazing! Nice, fresh salad bar. Just go. Try everything!

It was not even crowded & everything that could go wrong went wrong. Our waitress forgot part of our food order. We had to keep reminding her to bring things. I got a glass of water with absolutely no ice! Yuk. My friend ordered Pork Chops, they were not chops, they were dried out sliced pork loin. She ordered soup that the waitress kept forgetting to bring. On the positive side, I got a carryout for a friend & she said it was the best mushroom burger she ever had. I guess if I go back, I’ll order the mushroom burger.

Place has excellent grilled prime rib! Never had it grilled before and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. My husband had thin crust bbq chicken pizza and french onion soup & said both were very good. Deep fried cauliflower was good also. We had 3 cold beers. Our waitress was very nice(sorry forgot her name). Our total bill was $58. That was an awesome price for all that. From the outside the place looks like a run down hole in the wall. Inside is a homey country feel well worn. Definitely a hidden gem! Only downfall was no air conditioning(window air conditioner on the fritz), but we didn’t mind at all. Kudos to the cook!

We came in (party of 9) on July 4th for dinner. We were sincerely welcomed by the staff. Our server was friendly, efficient, and relaxed. Every single one of our dinners was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and quiet. We will be back when we come back to vacation in Port Sanilac which was an easy 10 min beautiful drive. Thank you to everyone who worked the holiday and provided such a wonderful experience.

The food was excellent, our table had all you could eat Walleye, Frog Legs……BUT…took for ever to receive our food . No where does it mention call ahead order your food then show up and immediately get served while everyone in the restaurant waits for their orders.
