Amazing food! The decorations are awesome, and the staff is super friendly. It is apparent that they are short staffed, but the team work provided here showed a healthy work place environment and awesome communication. Everything we ordered was reasonably priced and an awesome presentation. I hope to return soon!

Amazing food, amazing drinks amazing service!! This was a great brunch place. Food options were a great variety. The entire experience was amazing. Staff was very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend for a unique MKE brunch experience before it becomes hyped and overrated like all others.

This place is definitely a hidden gem!! Came here once on a whim with a group of 6, we were looking for a place to have drinks before a reservation elsewhere. The place was fully booked for Gallery Week, but due to the time of reservations, allowed us to have a table for drinks until the time of the next reservation. It was perfect and so kind!!! I decided that night I’d be back.

I had the fried bologna sandwich and coleslaw, yum! My friend had a 1971 cocktail and the crab cake benedict. Great food, wonderful service. Quite noisy though (not music but loud customers) but will be back.

Just ate here. The service was good and nice. The atmosphere was cute. The drinks were good. The waffle was good but everything else was not delicious. The biscuits and hash browns were way too salty. Like unbearably so. Gross.

Amazing food, unique atmosphere, good location. Not a fan of 20% Service charges but the food is fair priced. Our server Megan was amazing she represents fools errand so well she gives off the right vibe we enjoyed talking to her. Very hard to find great service and down to earth people like her nowadays hope to see her next time.

A fabulous experience all around. Held a dear friend’s birthday dinner at Fool’s Errand and every interaction with them was phenomenal. They were super accommodating to changes in our reservation and special requests. The staff was nothing short of delightful and they really added to the festive and fun tone of the evening. The drinks and food were amazing. So amazing that our friends who got the Gouda sauce with their meals and are still talking about it weeks later. When we lingered over drinks, not realizing we were keeping the staff past closing, they were so polite about trying to get us to wrap up. We’d all been eager to try Fool’s Errand and could not have been more thrilled our inaugural experience was for such a special event. Fool’s Errand will be added to the very short list of top spots and we’ll all be back soon! Highly recommend.

This is my new favorite brunch spot in Milwaukee. We went on a Saturday morning and got seated right away. Our server was very kind and attentive, despite being maybe one of only two servers working that morning. I ordered a mimosa, which was HUGE, the creme brulee french toast, which was amazing, and a side of bacon which was PERFECTLY cooked. Everything was exceptional. I can’t wait to go back!

I have never been so sad and so happy at the same time. This afternoon my love and I went to get lunch at Fool’s Errand after we heard they would be closing permanently at the end of the month. This was actually the first time we were here that it was actually packed. I’ve tried almost everything on the brunch menu and a good potion of the dinner menu and I have t had one thing I didn’t LOVE. Sadly we hadnt heard of this place until a a few mo ths ago when a good friend of mine posted her lunch on facebook. I took one look at the pictured cocktails and deviled eggs toast and we went the very next day. We have come together as a two top many times here and always had such a lovely experience. Once we came for brunch and came back a couple hours later with an eight top and relieved impeccable service. Even with one our guests being slightly annoying/obnoxious, the entire staff was patient and friend and vibes with us. I was actually mad that we were the only table in the joint thay night because I knew what was coming. I knew then I should make everyone at the table rate it five stars but I was honestly having such a good time with my friends and the staff that I didn’t think about my phone much. Their cocktails are so perfectly made that you don’t realize how strong they are until you need to get up for the bathroom or to leave. The decor is amazing (I’m a crazy plant lady) the art is SO cute. One of the servers said the location might have been a contribution to their untimely closing, which I guess I understand but even with the less than desirable location (parking is rough downtown and it is accessed through a shared lobby area so you have to walk through a few doors to actually get Into the restaurant) but I would pay for parking, walk six blocks, go through a hundred doors and climb ten flights of stairs to be able to bring all my friends back here again to experience these drinks, service, and food. RIP FOOL’S ERRAND we will be back before you close officially thank you for the last couple months of guaranteeing an amazing dining experience and dealing with our occassionally rambunctious parties with ease.
