Food Hut RKE is a culinary and social events project in beautiful Southwest Virginia. We are located at the corner of 5th Street and Salem Avenue in downtown Roanoke, sharing an amazing patio space with our friends Golden Cactus Brewery and Gatewood Rose Botanicals. We are community-driven, collaborative and constantly striving to support our friends, neighbors and community. Food Hut is a safe space for all. We cook responsibly and with as many hyper-local ingredients as we can. We care about the earth, sustainability and physical/emotional health. We love dogs. We’re here for the fun. There are restaurants with cooks in the kitchen and there are restaurants with chefs in the kitchen. After trying the Cauliflower Gobi for the first time, it was clear to me that this place has chefs!!! Great food! Great environment! Great service!

Visited Food Hut RKE with my family a month ago and we’ve been back 3x. We are obsessed. Food is amazing (highly recommend the Triples De Palta), the vibe is even better. Friendly staff. The outdoor area is just a really cool place to hang out with friends and family and pets. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Food Hut RKE is one of the coolest new spots in the Roanoke area! Their menus change weekly and they always hit it out of the park. I am super grateful for their presence and am always looking forward to what they do next! (And did I mention the beignets?! Out of this world.)
