This was hands down the most embarrassing display of food I’ve ever received. I placed an order online for a wise guys sub, and when it arrived there was literally NO meat on the sandwich. Just lettuce pickles and onion.. it was also cut horrendously and fell apart completely. I had never ordered from this place before, nor will I ever again lol

The area around Chicago has the best Italian subs. Every year, I purchase a 6-foot sub for my friends’ Super Bowl party, and it is by far the most well-liked dish. Having visited the original store on Polk Street, I can attest that new one is just as good. The bread is fantastic and the ingredients are all fresh.

Stop the car and grab a sub this place will make your belly rub for the grub. Soft bread, juicy meat and a little grease make it complete. You’ll probably want to jump outta your seat or dance on your feet if you’re willing to play with the heat. Wiseguy for the win. Really though quite simple spot with great sandwiches.

I personally prefer crunchier bread, but great place, the real deal.

Ran out of French bread. Sure it was 15 minutes to close, but having their sandwich on sliced bread is not the same.

This place is a total gem. Great history and even better food. I slam their Italian beef, but their cold Italian sandwiches are FIRE too.

I have nothing but positive things to say about them! The food and the process for setting up catering was flawless. Joe was absolutely fantastic as was the crew that delivered and set up!

A good sandwhich in a busy noisy place. The sandwich would have gotten 5 stars except it had mayo on it I always say no mayo as I get nausea when I eat it so I know I request no mayo but when I got home discover same well the lunch meat at stuff that didn’t have mayo on it was good. Again, a busy noisy place probably didn’t hear me.
