I am giving this buffet 5 stars because the food is amazing! I do have a couple of gripes, tho. The first thing I am told when telling them I am getting food to-go, they tell me “No Sushi.” I would like to have tried the sushi. Maybe they can offer like 5 pieces for a $2 up charge. Ok, really, that is it! The food is awesome, the place is very clean and the gentleman who assisted me was very kind. I will go back and sit down next time cause I HAVE to try that Sushi!

They did not allow my ADA certified service dog in. The food was warm at best. No steak available, platter stayed empty whole time i was there. I will be reporting them to the city tommorow. Different name but same owner and horrible food.

The cashier was very rude arrogant and had no ounce of customer service. The arrangement of food was unappealing and felt unwelcome by the constant stare of the cashier and cook..After tasting the food, the food was cold and had a terrible aftertaste. Due to current health scare, I hope that food inspectors come out and check on this poor food establishment.

Flying Wok is the first Chinese Buffet that I’ve visited in the area. I want to preface everything I say with the following. I understand that this is a Chinese buffet in a smaller city, so my standards reflect that. The service was fine. Friendly and welcoming staff. The food was not bad, but I’ve had better from a buffet. Any chicken based food was pretty good and moist. The Chow Mein noodles weren’t the best. They tasted more chicken flavored (maybe like Ramen?) and were a bit dry. The sushi tasted cheap (the sushi at the commissary on FT Polk is better), but it was still edible.

THE BEST CHINESE BUFFET IN ALEXANDRIA PERIODT. Everyone saying the building needs renovation and I agree BUT I went right at opening on a Sunday and they were packed so the food was fresh. They have walnut shrimp here!! And a sushi buffet. Total of 6 bars of food plus a soft serve machine. This is always the one I go to when I want Chinese in Alexandria. 5/5 BUSSIN!!!!
