Delicious find in Paonia… we had the Burrata, Spinaci salad, pasta primavera and short ribs. Jen was our sweet wonderful waitress and the entire staff was excellent. We will be back anytime our travels bring us this way (after a day wine tasting at the Black Bridge or Azura… exploring Kebler Pass and the beautiful aspens and ferns).

Casual setting. Here for work. Can’t wait to bring back the family. They love Italian food and this was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Service was good.

We’re the drinks amazing? Yes. Was the bartender Oakley extremely awesome (& made that bar look mighty amazing)? Double yes. Will I come back from the drinks? Yes. Will I come for the eye candy?

This was a cute bar/cafe with a great menu. The special that I ordered was amazing (Gorgonzola spinach fettuccine with crimini mushrooms and shrimp) but the regular fettuccine my friend received lacked some flavor. We ordered drinks and they arrived almost an hour after we were seated and when we were basically done with our entrees. They have an adorable patio outside but it was raining so we didn’t get an opportunity to sit outside. For anyone that had dogs they unfortunately aren’t welcome on the patio. They also had some charges with our check that didn’t add up from when we first received the bill, so just make sure to double check the additional charges before you pay. (It was only a couple dollars so we didn’t say anything).

Thank God this restaurant is in Paonia. What a nice gathering place to share a good meal and drinks with friends and family. The backyard patio is the best spot. Who wouldn’t want to dine under trees laden with fruit and twinkling strings of lights? Thank you, chef/owner Kelly, for working so hard to give Paonia a place to have dinner out. There’s also a small cocktail bar with a great bartender!

Me and my wife had a reservation and came in knowing exactly what we wanted. We placed our order within 5-10 minutes of arriving. After an hour plus of waiting we were informed our food had been given to another table.

My experience is bad. It was a rainy day and didn’t have the option to have dinner on the patio.

My wife and I ate here two nights in a row during a recent trip to visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. What more to say, the food was outstanding. There are many pasta dishes to suit any taste. We sat outside on the spacious patio and felt comfortable with the distance between tables in these COVID times. The staff was very accommodating and kept our water glasses full on the warm evenings.

I really don’t like to do negative reviews, hopefully this is more constructive than anything. We ordered 2 different chicken dishes, one arrived hot, the other had been hot, but was only warm when it reached the table. The chicken was very tender, parmesan was good, marsala was average at best. The server left us hanging, couldn’t place a desert order, couldn’t get the check, we were there almost 3 hours for an appetizer and the main meal. There didn’t appear to be anyone in charge, we asked the busser for our check, and paid through him. The staff really needs training on managing a busy load, timing out of the kitchen really needs improvement. I’m sorry to write this, we don’t plan on going back, once was more than enough. We read other reviews about slow service, they were right.

The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Grateful they allowed me to order takeout. The service was so bad. There was one dude doing everything, and a bunch of girls standing around with their mouths open and scowling. Craziness. I feel for the bartender.
