Amazing home-cooked food, excellent sweet tea, got the special which was a chicken fried chicken, loved it, better than most places I’ve tried in San Antonio, have to stop by this place every time I make it out to floorsville. History of this establishment is so interesting and makes it even cooler to eat here. Highly Recommend.

My wife and I LOVE this place. We have been here several times since we moved to Poth more than a year ago. I have tried several plates here and everything is so good. We definitely recommend trying this place out of you haven’t yet. Servers are always so nice and attentive. Definitely our favorite restaurant in the area and surrounding areas, hands down.

Probably won’t be back. 2 people for lunch. We ordered the fried pickles, and they were very good I ordered whichever salad has the “brisket “on it. The meat is just ground beef,and if you say it’s brisket, then why grind it? The dressing was already on it, and it was way too much. Mom ordered a hamburger and fries. Usually, the fries are really good, but these were really soggy. The hamburger was beyond well done. The outside was dark, and the inside was gray, and it was really hard. She actually had a hard time cutting it with a knife. Everyone is always very nice, and it’s such a cute place, I really wish they would re-vamp the menu. (Definitely keep those pickles though )

Happened to be passing by downtown Flooresville and saw this place….. Staff was friendly polite great service. Had a small order of fried pickles for an appetizer which wasn’t too small the two of us didn’t finish em. I had stuffed hamburger steak green beans and mashed potatoes. While my better half had a BLT and french fries which I think we’re seasoned with basil and lil parmesan some other seasoning. It was all delicious and the place was cool old and historic. Definitely worth checking out for the first time as well as a return to try more the great food.

My husband and I had the Chicken Fried Steak lunch special. The food and service was really good. The french fries are homemade and really delicious. I would have liked them to be hotter. We would definitely recommend this place for lunch.

After walking in and sitting down waiting for our drink order after 10 minutes, the waitress comes and takes our food order. We waited there another 10 minutes and she says a big party just got there and it would be about 35 to 45 minutes before we receive our food. We decided not to stay and thought we should have been told that from the very beginning before sitting down and even taking our drink order . I’m very disappointed. Not to mention the restroom is extremely unsanitary.
