Great Bistro !! Local and family owned and run like I Like! No comercial recipes this is grandma and auntie food. Miss Betty took excellent care of us! She is that absolute sweetest soul!! Deffinatly a stop every trip to Philly! And the location is great next to beauty supply store across from James at the Philadelphia barber school Location Location Location !! The food was delicious. The fish, string beans flavorful, yams- good, chicken delicious, mac and cheese was yummy and cheesy, and the potato salad was oh so good. I had the banana pudding before and that was delicious as well. My only critique is I wish the portions were larger. Everything was really good and I will be back for more and let others know how good it was also!!

Overall, our food was ok. The cabbage, string beans and greens were too salty, too much hot sauce and liquid smoke added. The fried wings were good, salmon was cooked perfectly, and the yams were great. The seafood pasta salad was good but it needed some real crabmeat in there or salmon, it was a lot of imitation crab, but I’d order it again. I’ll give them another try and order something different.

Now the food doesn’t look that bad .. looks amazing on DoorDash . But the food wasn’t that good to me at all and I ordered based off of reviews I saw . The Mac was runny like eggs were used or it wasn’t fully cooked .. and super salty like they put seasoned salt on top of the Mac after cooking . My fried chicken was salty and tasted like burnt oil as if oil was not cleaned and was used all day .. I did order around 7pm. The best part was my sweet potatoes . They were real sweet potatoes .. not canned and tasted like pie without the crust . That’s where my stars come in . I’m sure this place is good and I just had a bad order esp since I ordered through a 3rd party service … I’ll try again maybe some other time .

Floyd’s roasted wings are THE TRUTH!!! They are the best roasted wings I have ever eaten from ANY restaurant. Very juicy and well seasoned!! A must try. You will not be disapponted. The $1 shrimp are also the bomb!! You go Floyd!

Food is okay but I really want to write a review for customer service … the lady at the front will literally continue whatever task she is doing before acknowledging that you even walked into the store .. when someone is supporting especially a small business the least you can do is greet someone when they walk in your business …. The front lady was very dismissive and acted as if I was unconvincing her

Food was really delicious but the portions were very small, if I’m going to pay 16 dollars for a platter please make my portions reasonable, also don’t serve can string beans please. Also when someone walks into your establishment please acknowledge them with a smile and ask how may I help you, respectfully thank you.

The lady at the front was very rude and dismissive. My daughter and I waited patiently to order without our presents even being acknowledged for a little over 10 minutes with only one customer waiting for their food. I stood where the sign said “order here” yet the lady stood at the opposite end of the counter and darn near whispered “can I help you” ias if I was bothering her. As I began to order, the lady abruptly walked away and began to put stickers on boxes.

10 out of 10. For real. Food took me back 40 years (omg & smh) when my mom was in the kitchen. I’m so sorry I didn’t take pictures of the food, it tasted so good I didn’t have time chil’ . We had potato salad, turkey legs, greens, Mac & cheese and roasted wings. Goodness…
