Delicious food with a beautiful view! Flippers on the bay has always been a spot I recommend to locals and tourist alike. I most recently went for a couple of appetizers and a cocktail. Everything was outstanding, as usual, fantastic service. Jesse, the manager at flippers goes the extra mile to make sure all the guests are taken care of. On this particular day, we had some coconut shrimp, tortilla soup, and lobster mac & cheese. Everything spot on. The rum buckets made with Wicked Dolphin are a not to be missed

After a morning shelling at Lover’s Key, we decided to try Flipper’s for lunch. Definitely a nice view! They also have ceiling fans and misters, so that helped keep us cool on the deck. I ordered a key lime coolada – YUM! It was like a key lime pie smoothie in a glass. Definitely recommend if you love key lime (like I do!). We started with the tuna ceviche (see photo). Gorgeous plating! My son works in a restaurant, and he really liked the look of this dish. However, we had to order more wonton crisps (which we were charged for) as you only get two crisps – and they have jalapeños and pickled ginger on them. So, that seemed like a miss with this dish. My advice is to put those extras on the plate and bring a side bowl with the crisps (and more than two). It was a very good dish, so we would order this again with the tweaks I suggest. My son got the fried grouper sandwich with fries – that was delicious! Super crispy. I had 1-2 bites of it and definitely wanted more! I was trying to be healthy and ordered the Asian chicken salad. It looked good, however, it had WAY too many of the wonton crisps in it. Had I known, I would have ordered them on the side. I was picking them out of the salad as it seemed like there was more fried wonton bits than greens. Service was decent – not spectacular but good enough. I would definitely go back to Flipper’s and get that key lime coolada, the fried grouper and try some other things. I wish I could give them more like a 4.5 as we definitely had some really good dishes but some small misses.

Had a wonderful Mother’s Day dinner and the chef gave us long stem roses. Food was delicious and would I definitely eat here again! We had the shrimp scampi and also Lobster Mac and cheese.

Great restaurant on the water! They are open again after the hurricane and have updated their furniture. Excellent staff and menu. Gluten free options are solid. Not a bad dish on the menu. If you don’t want to wait, you can call ahead. Valet parking. We were a party of 6 and they had room for us. Open air covered dining with plenty of moving and misted air with fans to keep you cool. Cannot recommend this place high enough! Thoughtfully prepared food and an amazing atmosphere.

I ordered the Caprese salad and my husband ordered the chicken quesadilla appetizer. The food was very good and the portions were plentiful. It was a beautiful sunny day and the atmosphere was perfect on the water. Our waitress Chloe was friendly and attentive.

Fantastic as always! Highly recommend. Casual dress is fine, or you can dress nice casual. Just reopened(post hurricane Ian) and still delicious. Great service. On the bay with great views of the water. Valet parking. Nice place for sunset bay views. Been many times good every time. Families, date night(. Not sure about really large groups).

This is a must go to if you are in the area. The food was Fantastic . The service was Great. The waitress was Awesome all her recommendations where spot on couldn’t have had a better experience. The chef even stopped by are table before we ordered to ask what we where thinking about ordering and had recommendations also. We will definitely be back can’t wait.
