This place was amazing. I had the Chicken Wrap with the Flipn Hot sauce and it really was one of the best chicken wraps I have ever had. Not only that, but it was served with a mountain of fresh fries and was big enough to share. The Flipn Hot is spicy, but not unreasonably so. I’ll be bumping it up to their hottest next I come.

Amazing place! The guy working the front counter was super super sweet. Delicious food, chicken was tender. Big proportions for what you get. Fair price. All around a really good little spot to eat at. Gave us free drinks! So lovely. I reccomend for lunch or something quick. 🙂

I was looking for Zoey’s kitchen but it got replaced by Cava Digital Kitchen so I went to flip-a-lo’s from a friend’s recommendation. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean and the interior was well lit. I ordered garlic Parm chicken wrap with fries and my gf ordered lemon pepper chicken tenders with bread sticks. Both items came out within 5-10 minutes from ordering (the restaurant was empty at the time of ordering). The food was fantastic! The chicken was fresh, crispy and well seasoned. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The bread sticks are also well seasoned and filling as well. The blue cheese sauce had chucks of blue cheese in it and it was substantially thick. I will definitely come back and take full advantage of the rewards system.

Order the mild buffalo tenders with fries. The sauce and tenders were good. Fries were good too. Nothing spectacular stood out about the service and atmosphere was quiet as there were only a few people in. During my visit a guy came in, assuming manager/DM and plopped down to start working on his laptop. Didn’t seem engaging to the employees or even acknowledge the guests as he walked by. Just a snapshot so maybe he’s not always like that

This place is the best kept secret in Charlotte! The fries are home made, the chicken wrap had all fresh ingredients, and the wings were insane! Also, the guy behind the counter knew it was our first time visiting, and gave us their famous bread sticks to try … I’ll be back… like tomorrow. Thank you Flip-a-Lo’s!

I love Flip-a-Lo’s. Not sure why they named themselves this but ok. The wings are somewhat smallish but they are always prepared exactly as I ask (super extra crispy) and are always done when it is suggested I pick them up. I prefer the boneless wings to the strips as I generally find that unappetizing tendon in the strips. Maybe they will offer some breast strips at some point. That would be a huge upgrade.

My first time back in over 6 years, and wow, this place is still an amazing hidden gem in South Charlotte. They’ve changed their name (now Flip-a-Lo’s), but their chicken strips are still incredibly fresh and tasty. They pride themselves on their “never frozen chicken,” and they use it to their advantage with their homemade sauces. We tried the medium buffalo (spicy and buttery at the same time – fantastic), lemon pepper (zesty without being spicy), and honey BBQ (simply WOW). Also, their bread sticks are fluffy and tasty.
