I had a great experience. This was my 1st time coming here & it was my birthday, so when we got to my table it had a birthday card on it that said happy birthday. The waiter was very friendly, informative, & patient & he stayed around just enough so we never had to go without anything we may have needed. I got the surf & turf main steak & lobster, signature salad & potatoes, & for dessert I tried a lava cake & ice cream which was the best ice & cake combo & texture ever. I even got birthday pictures printed & framed by the lady that greeted me at the door. When I say this place is worth coming to I mean it & will be back.

It’s in a great location in downtown birmingham. It’s a very well put together restaurant with a low light vibe. It’s also quiet with music playing low which makes it pleasant having conversation with those at your table. It is definitely expensive as a forewarning.

Elegant and formal dining experience. We started with a couple of blueberry lemon drops, one of which was virgin. Only good things to say, very sweet and refreshing! Our starter was the burrata, after the crisp bread and butter of course. Very tasty, the charred campari tomatoes, prosciutto and wild arugula blend well to be paired with the toasted garlic crostini. It was actually quite filling so for the entrée we decided to split the USDA prime dry-aged ribeye and mashed potatoes as our side. The steak was well cooked and prepared half medium-rare half medium-well to suit our different preferences, and they were offered to be separated for us as well! I do regret, not adding something over the top of the steak to give it a bit more flavor so next time I’ll try the crispy maitaki mushroom. The mashed potatoes paired beautifully with the steak. And we were too full from dinner to order dessert unfortunately. However, our waitress brought over some complimentary truffles, which were very rich and chocolatey! The atmosphere is gorgeous, very traditional steakhouse vibes which is nice to come across every now and then. And the service was excellent! Makaela waited on us and maintained an optimistic and helpful attitude throughout the whole dinner. If I am to come back I will be sure to ask for her, very good service. I do intend to come back for sure!

Came in for dinner. Ordered two of the same salad (Wedge Salad) but as you can see in the picture, it contained a BIG chunk of lettuce. As far as I know, organic lettuce needs to have each leaf split to get a proper wash. The lettuce which came in was not split. After splitting the lettuce, you can notice some brown spots (and if it was organic, you may be eating bugs or larva eggs.) Therefore, it was clear that the lettuce wasn’t well-washed or not washed at all. The waiter took the salads off the receipt, but we were overcharged like a dollar for the cappuccino I ordered. The menu had it as 6 dollars but they charged us 7 dollars (the cake was not overcharged so clearly they were not adding tax.) Other than that, the cake was good. Kind of stuck to the plate. The lady at the front desk and the waiter himself were very nice. The place didn’t have a lot of people though, despite it being evening hours. The salad ruined this for me. Otherwise, I would have given like 4-3 stars. I might do the same thing I did with Uccelo’s Ristorante (hope I am spelling that correctly) and come back a year later. I just hope that lettuce is washed before it contains tapeworms/bugs or unwashed insecticide on it.

This is my idea of a perfect dinner. The Tomahawk and Filet Mignon is to die for. The service was nothing short of excellent, our waitress was absolutely fantastic and pleasant to speak with. Thank you for the great experience tonight, the wife and I will be back!

It was all right. Service is impeccable. Went there for a financial seminar. Had a salad and burger with fries. The salad was good. Burger and fries were very salty. Asparagus and Au Gratin potatoes were also salty. I guess if you love salt, you would like it more than I did.

The service was phenomenal! The food was good! We had a great time! My only complaint is this is the second time I have gotten the chocolate lava cake and it was over cooked both times so it was hardly any “lava” and the mashed potatoes were lukewarm! Other than that I enjoyed everything!

I absolutely loved it here. It was my birthday and we had reservations. Our waitress was AMAZING. I regret not remembering her name. She very helpful. Very observant to our needs. Cleaned out table. Packed our leftover food. Even got me a virgin Daiquiri even though I didn’t see one on the menu. The food was outstanding. We got the “Twosday” special. Not one part of the meal disappointed. I would love to return and I would recommend others do the same.

I celebrated my daughter’s 25th birthday at Flemings. We LOVE Flemings. They treated us like family. The hostess took our picture and came back to check on us to make sure we were good. The Chef and Manager checked in on us and wished my daughter a Happy Birthday. Food was amazing and I’m a Chef with my own catering business and this is where we go for mouth watering steak. We had our own birthday cake and they put it in the cooler until we were ready for it, sliced it for us and served it and re-boxed what was left and put it in a Flemings bag with our leftover food. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful evening.
