Mutton biryani was very disappointing. Mutton was very dry. Tandoori platter was good and fresh but one of the kebab tasted stale. Veg Manchurian was not bad. Overall disappointed.

My husband and I were craving some Indian food and made another take out order from this restaurant. Take note that they close from 3pm-5pm so you aren’t able to place an order during that time (at least not the online portal I tried to use, Toast Tab). However right at 5 we placed our order and the food was ready in about 25 minutes.

Update (April 2023): I definitely need to update this review because although the food is still very good, the consistency has gone way down and the staff is constantly overworked to the point where wait times are huge and pick up orders are often delayed.

After ages I got pani/dahi puri thousands miles away from home! Obviously the taste wasn’t as traditional one but I like the taste here. I was too excited to have though it seemed a bit overpriced. We also ordered Kebab platter with garilc-sesame naans and Mutton Roganjosh. Kebab platter was really good and reasonably priced. Platter had five different types of kebabs, I mostly liked Hariyali kebab and Reshmi tikka. Mutton was on average and basically I am not that a big fan of it. We ended with Faluda, it was okay and quite overpriced. Their service was not that prompt but they were very cordial and well-behaved. Overall we enjoyed the dinner there

Quite simply the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I’ve been here three times and every dish I’ve been served is the best version of that dish I’ve ever been served. Everything is incredibly fresh, properly spiced, well prepared, and served by friendly people. Nothing else in the region compares.

The food was authentic and delicious. Great service. The spicy level is a bit high so if you’re asking for mild, it’s kinda medium spicy. If your party can’t take spicy food, order the butter chicken and ask for it with no spice at all.

We were looking for something different to eat today and we ended up stumbling on Flavors if Nawab. I usually go to specific places for Indian food but decided to give this place a try based kn the reviews. It’s a nice hidden gem that has indoor and outdoor seating. Prices to food portion ratio is pretty good. The staff was also friendly and kind.

Flavours of Nawab is one of the best Indian Restaurant that is a must visit in CT. The food quantity and quality is awesome. When you enter itself, you will get the flavours reaching out and telling you to try the awesome dishes that are on the menu. Wide range of Menu including Chicken, Mutton, Lamb and Veg Options. Biryani is a must try over here with Tandoor delicacies. We had ordered Cold fresh lime and mint juice which was relishing, as in it was literally making you cool your internal organs one of the best juice I ever had here in US until date. Liver fry of Goat, great appetizer. Mutton Rogan Josh with Rice, roti and naan. The mutton was cooked to perfection, as in you can see the flesh separated from the bone still attached to it. Awesome taste.
