First time eating here and the server was very sweet and attending. The Texas omelet was very flavorful and a big portion. The country potatoes were also soft and good. The biscuits were soft and crispy. Must visit when back in town!

The food is amazinggg, Im really in love with the catfish, even though it’s sooo many items on the menu to choose from. Everyone is sooo friendly, they make you feel like family. The mango lemonade is great as well but I recently fell in love with “The Mix” so that is now my new go to favorite drink there.

If there was nothing good about this restaurant, I would at least say that our server Joe kept us entertained and laughing with his quips. He was the only server working at least 5 tables. Please keep him around!

Took a family trip to LA at the end November and came across this spot while searching for breakfast near the AirBnB. This place did not disappoint! May not seem like it from the outside but inside it is very welcoming and warm. The staff are friendly and the food is hot and delicious. Seriously, it was so flavorful and hit the spot. If I go back to LA I will definitely visit again.

Best breakfast food I’ve had in a long time at a restaurant. Good prices and very nice environment on the inside. The jambalaya omelette and country potatoes was fire. The shrimp and grits was probably my favorite. But if you have never tried peach cobbler french toast . Then you definitely need to come here and try it out. Delicious….. Oh and our server was the best. For your beverage please get “The Mix” you won’t be disappointed…. I will definitely be back ❤️❤️

The food is SO GOOD! I highly recommend this place. So far I have tried the shrimp and grits (I got it with the fried potatoes as recommended by one of the owners – he said that the potatoes soak up the étouffée sauce for an amazing combination), the short rib and grits, and the peach cobbler French toast. Everything is perfectly prepared and seasoned. Plus the biscuits are nothing short of wonderful and they sell a side of cobbler peaches.

Was directed (given menus and told which table) initially to a table next to the kitchen that banged against the door frame and vibrated the table every time wait staff passed through. The proprietor seemed to interact with everyone except us. We were the only patrons with masks on so maybe they thought we were diseased. SMH….we’ve patronized this establishment several times but this will be the last. Ordered pork chop grilled w/grits. Chop was tough and dry at the center. Grits weren’t boiled in salted water at all. Salt and pepper shakers need to be cleaned and sanitized. Catfish was tasty. When exiting restaurant proprietor looked our direction yet said nothing.
