We enjoyed a delicious lunch on Father’s Day at Flavia’s with outdoor seating! Our server was kind, patient, and provided great recommendations. He also was accommodating by adding burrata to the salad we ordered, which made it even tastier. The spicy rigatoni was a perfect balance of sauce, meat, and rightly cooked pasta. The truffle fettuccine also hit the spot! Definitely recommend this restaurant on Cookman ave in beautiful Asbury Park and look forward to going again! Pictures attached 🙂

Overall, pretty good experience here. Appetizers could have been a bit larger or explained clearer about whether or not it would be enough for the table. Entrees were delicious- my carbonara was out of this world and even just as delicious for the next day. Would come back for some gnocchi and other pasta dishes.

This was our first time visiting here and it won’t be our last. Our server Kristin was very nice and informative as to the menu. We started with carciofi fritti which were delicately fried with a very light tempura type coating served with a delicious lemon vinaigrette. We ordered two pasta dishes cacio e pepe and amatriciana, which were homemade and very flavorful and tasty. We shared the pistachio & ricotta cake which was divine. The ricotta cake had a tender crumb and was moist and the pistachio was a mousse like texture, lovely. Overall, a great dining experience.

I won’t lie, I was actually trying to go to another Italian restaurant up the block, but they were extremely busy and couldn’t accommodate us. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as we were seated at Flavia’s immediately, and we were extremely pleased with everything. We were still able to drink the wine we bought to accompany our dinner, as Flavia’s is BYOB as well, and the food, service, and ambience were impeccable. We had two San Pellegrino sparkling waters to complement our white wine, split the Misto de Bruschetta appetizer, and we had the Chicken Scaloppine and the Pasta Carbonara for our mains. The Chicken Scaloppine was very nice, a sort of chicken Marsala without the mushrooms, but the Carbonara, with guanciale, was truly sublime. We left very happy, and we have discovered a new upscale dining option in Asbury Park. We will most likely return to Flavia’s if we have the opportunity!

First time at Flavia’s last night and already can’t wait to go back. The atmosphere is adorable, but my god…the gnocchi . Between the four of us, we had the stuffed zucchini flowers, the orange fennel salad, 3 different gnocchi dishes and the chicken dish. Everything was great, but the Truffle cream gnocchi was out of this world. So fresh, so tasty, and made with love. Love that it is BYOB, and we didn’t feel rushed at all even though they were busy! Oh and don’t sleep on the Tiramisu, it was homemade and ridiculously good. Thank you Flavia’s for such. lovely night evening.

We had a wonderful meal at Flavia’s. As an appetizer we shared the artichokes, meatballs, and a fennel orange salad. For dinner we had a few different pastas. The carbonara, past with artichokes, pasta ragu, pasta Norma and a spinach shrimp were all great. You’re probably asking why only a 2 the pastas were served to us warm, which means it sat waiting to be picked up by our waitress for a while. She had a trainee with her which is mind boggling as to why she just couldn’t bring the dishes over sooner. The place was not busy either.. I would go there again but ask for the food to be hot!

Absolutely delicious food! Great and fast service. Loved the bar area where it was an open kitchen and you can enjoy them cooking your food. We got the carbonara and Quattro formaggi gnocchi which was absolutely delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente. We will definitely be back.

We were lured in by a menu of interesting sounding gnocchi, and then we didn’t even order it. We got meatballs as an appetizer, and the cacio e pepe and puttanesca, both of which were great. We decided to get one of the special entrees to split, a surf and turf type dish with fresh salad. It was a pile of food, but not too much, and all very delicious. Saved room for dessert, and glad we did. Coffee and ricotta cheesecake? Not when they have a pistachio ricotta cake flown in from Italy! Ridiculously good, sorry you only get a picture of the empty plate. We will just have to go back for the gnocchi. Plan ahead and BYOB, but you won’t need booze to enjoy a meal here.

My husband and I have been enjoying Flavia’s cuisine ever since they opened a year ago. It has become our favorite restaurant ever since our first visit. The food is delicious, especially the gnocchi, but each time we try something new, Flavia’s never disappoint. We enjoy the atmosphere, very attentive, respectful and kind service, and we appreciate the BYOB feature, which allows us to bring our favorite wine to pair with Flavia’s delicious dishes. It is definitely a place worth visiting – recommend Flavia’s 100%!
