Had been hearing good things about this place since it opened a while back, so we finally got over and gave it a try. First impression is that this is not a fancy 5 star seafood establishment. It is an old converted gas station. It is neat and clean and servers the purpose of a casual dining spot. They have a nice sized bar that is well stocked. They also have nice happy hour menu and drink specials. The main menu has nice selections of very fresh seafood to choose from. The portions were not oversized but were adequate and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised to get out with a tab of $140.00 for 2 people that included 2 drinks each, an appetizer, our 2 dinners, and a desert, which we shared.

Fantastic dinner experience. The seafood was fresh and deliciously prepared. We ordered the crudo, lox, fish dip and oysters flamingo. All were amazing, highly recommend. Drinks were hand crafted and also excellent. Service and staff were wonderful. Jay was our server and on top of everything. We will definitely be back.

Flamingo Seafood serves up some delicious and fresh seafood dishes. We made it in time for happy hour and ordered the happy hour oysters. Happy hour oysters are selected by Flamingo Seafood and although I can’t recall which oysters we had they were delicious. We also ordered the Salmon Tartare, the Smoked Fish Dip and the Crudo.

I saw the high stars and decided to give this place a try, but I hadn’t read the reviews about the old converted gas station, so needless to say we were surprised when we first walked up. We almost didn’t even go in but we had a movie to catch so we were short on time. Well . . . . so glad we gave it a shot because it was fabulous! The food was amazing. So fresh, cooked perfectly. It’s hands down the best seafood I’ve had in all of Florida in a long time. Oysters were excellent. All the employees were super nice. It’s a very unassuming place, not fancy at all like the others said, but good friendly service and EXCELLENT food.

It was my first time there since they recently open I had swordfish and was very satisfied The fish was very fresh and tasty and the server Mary Joe was very friendly She came a few time and check if I need anything and wanted to know how I like the food. Highly recommend the Flamingo Seafood to anyone looking for a delicious seafood dish. I will be back for sure!

Superb inviting atmosphere! You can feel all of the staff enjoys being here with their excellent customer service and intriguing conversations. Nick A. took care of us and is truly a gem- huge thanks. Their food is VERY fresh and delicious, made with care and expertise. They are continuing to build their menu as well as the outdoor area. This place is already a hit and has some much potential already brewing. Love this place, highly recommend and will most definitely be back!

Not sure about the restaurant side. I Went to the market side for some clams and some seafood dip. Absolutely ridiculously priced!!

Oysters were so fresh and tasty. Tried their Gorgonzola cheesecake and fish dip as well. Everything was good. Definitely will come back to try different oysters and something from hot plates.

Hands down the best meal we’ve had in or near Fort Lauderdale! We sampled a half dozen raw oysters, which were perfect and very fresh. The oysters Flamingo made my husband an oyster convert. Short ribs and salmon tacos were killer, and we finished with fantastic key lime pie. Fantastic and informative service as well, we could not have been happier. Great cocktails too! Locals: you’re so lucky. Visitors: don’t miss this.

Great place! When you walk in and Me, Myself and I by De La Soul is playing you know it’s gonna be good. The salmon tacos! Do it, freaking delicious. Maple salmon with arugula. The fish dip with cassava and plantain chips was excellent. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would have taken pictures but everything got eaten too quickly. The fish market side looks solid too, but that’s for another day!
