I don’t like to spend more than $30 on a steak, but once in a while I do and almost every time I regret it. Unfortunately this time I wasn’t pleased with it. Ordered a $65 Filet Mignon and it was just OK, it wasn’t cooked as I liked it and it was a bit chewy. Other filets I had are usually very tender and soft to chew. Other than the steak, the tiramisu was great and so was the appetizer.

The food was good and the service was great , but when you spend almost 1,000 dollars and they charge you a 3 percent credit card fee, that is a slap in the face. This is suppose to be a classy restaurant not a gas station or grocery store. I obviously don’t care about spending money but it’s the principal. I will never come here again. You lost a valuable customer and I’m sure you will lose a-lot more.

Perfect place to bring you family to eat, if I could give 10 stars I definitely would. Great service they treat you like family. Let’s talk about the food I would like to say it was on point very tasty food that would make you want to come back over and over again and never get tired of it. Meh. This is on par for what I think about most steakhouses. Very expensive, and just okay. I had the Rack of Lamb, which was decent, but I had to send it back to get it cooked to the right done-ness. Salad was overdressed, as it is most places around here. Creamed spinach was similar to what Birdseye used to sell. The Oysters Rockefeller was good, no complaints. But for me, I’d rather go to the Kittle House. My husband really loved his steak, though.

Location & service was OK but the food was awful steak was cold, side so cold. Or the steak medium rare and it didn’t look rare it had a funny look to it and a funny smell to the steak. They give us a bread basket of three small pieces of bread but enough butter for 15 people! The saddest by the window maybe that was a funny smell the fact that they don’t clean their windows or the boats they hang in front of the windows. I told him I wanted to take everything to go they only packed the steaks and throw out the sides. We didn’t finish our dinner and it was the worst 250 bucks I ever spent. I got home I looked at the stake again smelled it took a picture of it and I close the end result. Next time going to Benjamins!Porterhouse Steak
