Such good food with such a good lunch special. For the price – especially- the food was so so yummy, the portions were HUGE to say the least, and the flavors were pretty authentic. The staff were so kind and catering to us and were always checking up on us. I would totally come here again!

Simple and tasty. I had the hibachi scallop, and the scallops had a good, firm, and bouncy texture with a seared exterior. The highlight, though, was the side of broccoli that came with it. These florets soaked up the sauce, packing a flavorful punch that goes well with the rice. They were so good that I may just get the hibachi vegetable set if I come back. I would have hoped for a lower price point, but I understand the location is not a cheap one.

nice teppanyaki restaurant. I booked in advance which I think is necessary. food was really great. we‘ve had surf & turf (angus beef and lobster). chef was funny and made a cool show. the whole „food experience“ was rather quick. we ate in less than 2 hours. as far as I know, they do not offer dessert.

Great food at a reasonable price. Chefs and waiting staff were fantastic and made it a great experience. We would definitely recommend of we were to return to NYC.

I need to take a rest stop before my late evening meeting . Place is clean and quiet at late afternoon. Soup dumpling is delicates bad juicy . Szechuan spicy dumpling was lukewarm when it was served . Service is great .

Wow! Met up with some friends at Flame who frequent this spot for drinks. The atmosphere is chill and great for celebrations. Their second floor space is filled with hibachi style tables and the third floor is set up for private dining that seats up to 16-17 people. The day I was there I could here the staff upstairs celebrating guests’ birthdays with a traditional Asian style celebration. I started with a spicy margarita, which my bartender, Tony, made with love. Absolutely and perfectly balanced! I proceeded to order (based off of the bartender’s recommendation) the spicy soup dumplings, followed by shrimp pad thai, and ended with the fried lobster dumplings. Everything was so so delicious. I’m a self proclaimed foodie. I’m a successful restauranter and pride myself in having a solid valid palate. My husband and I eat out a lot and we know good food and service This place is serving up GOOD FOOD and the staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful! I’d recommend Flame to anyone and I can’t wait to go back. They have 3 locations in NYC and am so glad I made it to their location on 3rd Ave & E 27th street.

If you are looking to go to one of the best Japanese Hibachi restaurants in NYC, then I highly recommend Flame Hibachi. As soon as you walk in, there will be a friendly waiter who would guide you to a seat. Once you arrive, there would be a menu on your designated seat for you to choose the meal you would like to be cooked. Less than 15 minutes, an entertaining chef will arrive to the designated table you were assigned to and cooks the food right in front of you.
