As an Indian I do have higher expectations for Indian food. This restaurant only hit the medium expectations. The garlic naan was really delicious but the chicken curry (mom’s chicken curry) was better than the other one that we ordered. The fried fish did taste delicious with all the masalas that was used but it could have definitely been better. The tandoori chicken was cooked a little too much.

Indian food is the one cuisine I haven’t explored as much since I’m not the biggest fan of curry but I’ve always been interested in trying the different foods offered. I’m so glad I finally gave it a try and went to Flambe as my first experience. Starting with the decor, its so beautiful and inviting. The employees are welcoming and the tables are full of happy people.

I have ordered food from here (to go) before and I really enjoyed it. However, this time the kadai paneer was very disappointing. The gravy was tasting like tomato paste, no flavors and the peppers weren’t cooked well. The other two dishes were well done. We had dal tadka and gobhi pakora. Hats off to the chef for an amazing work. The gobhi pakoras (fritters) were crunchy and delicious. They tasted great even after 40 minutes of pick up.

It was well decorated. Nice atmosphere. Food and service was good. One of the main advantages was its open between 12-9 PM on Sunday. Most of the Indian restaurants will be closed between 3 and 5:30 pm.

What an amazing meal we had! Was looking for an Indian place to replace the one I used to frequent that shut down. This place not only fits the bill but was BETTER than the other place that I loved so this is high praise. The service was also amazing, very classy and welcoming not pretentious. The food was filled with flavor and freshness!! Great place i can’t wait to come back and try the dessert, I just couldn’t eat anymore ha! Thank you!!

A lovely place tucked into an easy to miss corner! I met a friend for lunch and adored the cheerful and colorful interior. Food was delicious – the garlic naan was seriously large. Mama’s curry was a hit, and the tandoori dish I had was excellent as well. Friendly and attentive service – I’ll be coming back!

We have been coming here for a few years and it’s always a wonderful experience. I have been hard pressed to find better Indian Food anywhere in the Chicagoland area. A hidden gem. I have yet to have anything I did not like here yet.
