The store is very large.

Still trying to determine how I feel about this place. The atmosphere is nice. Food was decent. But, there are certain things you can/can’t order depending on what side of the menu you select. Also, here is where I took real issue – just turned off. The menu is all you can eat for like $29.99. You can’t take anything leftover out (understandable), but they will charge you (either $5 or $15) for every pound of food you don’t eat. If you’re going to charge me for, let me take it with me. Don’t think I’ll return any time soon.

We got there at about 8:30p on a Sunday. We were greeted right away and told there would be a short wait. We decided to sit at the bar while we waited. The bartender said he’d be back with a menu and never came back. After 30 minutes we asked another staff member how much longer we should wait (it was empty). We got seated and immediately told the waiter was double seated so we’d have to wait longer. The food was good but the service was simply unacceptable. Then they charge 18% gratuity so the staff can treat customers any way they want. They charge you a fee if you don’t eat all your food which you cannot take with you. It saddens me that restaurants that cater to marginalized groups do this. We don’t see this in the suburbs. Anyway, avoid if you’re used to fine dining. This place will disappoint.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting FIYAH Korean BBQ & Hot Pot for a business meeting, and I have to say, it was an absolute delight. The restaurant is a fantastic independent establishment, offering a unique and delicious dining experience.

Korean BBQ menu was great! My party of 5 chose the hot pot option with a variety of fixings. Servings were plentiful. I liked the large screen TV streaming K-pop bands performing. Music was very loud though and didn’t match the theme of the restaurant. Regardless, I’m looking forward to the opening of the rooftop patio! Come out and support this brand new addition to Asia Town’s restaurants!

DO NOT COME HERE! This place is a scam. Terrible service, rude staff, except Reyna. The grill will sear your food but leave it raw inside. All food needs salt. So, if you want salmonella, this is the place to go. Lack of ventilation. They have big pipes with vents around the building, but they don’t seem to do much. The windows were left open, but that still didn’t cut down on the smoke. I’ve been to many Korean BBQ places but have not experienced that level of smoke.

Overall a very mid experience. While the venue is cool with their garage windows and interior style, that does very little to satisfy my appetite. The food was either heavily under seasoned (bland) or heavily over seasoned (salty and only salty). Also the grill was turned up too high and the bathroom didn’t have regular paper towels but napkins instead.

My first time at a restaurant like this. It’s amazing, the concept of not being able to take food or anything you leave un eaten costing extra is odd. But the food is so good. I literally ate till I couldn’t anymore. Love love loved the bulgogi. Our servers were amazing, friendly, and very good at checking back. Props to our server Jamal was very good and so nice.

As a self proclaimed Korean BBQ aficionado , there were pros and cons of Fiyah.

The food and atmosphere are great, but the service it the worst I’ve ever had in any restaurant. We were there around 6pm on a Saturday, and it was slow, maybe 5 or 6 tables seated besides us. We were greeted and seated quickly, our first round of drinks and food came out quickly. After that our server disappeared for 20-30 minutes while we were waiting to order more food. When she came back we put in another round of drinks and meat, the meat came out quickly but the drinks didn’t. She came back another 30 minutes later with the check and shut off our grill despite us wanting to get more food (we were ordering in small batches because it’s $15 a pound for any leftover.) I also asked her for the beer again at this point but never got it. One of the bus boys came over and cleared plates and put the tongs from a plate of raw chicken on top of our fried rice that we were still eating, and since our server was never around we couldn’t tell her about it to get it replaced. There were 3 servers in the place for 6 or 7 tables, so I have no idea how the service could be this bad. We ended up leaving still hungry after paying $50 each because we didn’t want to wait another 20-40 minutes for our server to come by. I’ve had Korean BBQ plenty of times before at other restaurants and it was never like this, so I can’t even say it was part of the restaurant style. It was just a poorly trained staff that ruined an otherwise good experience.
