Great local breakfast spot with Barn style theme inside. Large portions and good prices! Little bit of a wait, so get in early. Family oriented but definitely go for those breakfast mimosas!

Great diner on OKI. Attentive staff, great coffee with a few selections for those who like darker roasts. Egg dishes were nicely done. The homefries are fried and good portions. The waffles were nice and fluffy. The eggplant sandwich was HUGE! We appreciated the waitress checking with the chef and allowing us to order lunch at 8am! The lunch menu looks fantastic. We’ll be back for breakfast and to try lunch!

The place was a quaint atmosphere I like it. Tables are a little close together so you’re conversations aren’t too private, but it’s still a nice place. The service is good, waitresses are kind, give fair service.

Wow! This is the go to place for breakfast! The shrimp and grits were phenomenal. The restaurant is cozy, friendly and welcoming. Coffee is strong and smiles are present. If you’re looking for a local, affordable and delicious breakfast spot, then fixins is the go to. Only breakfast spot open on Monday as well. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Quaint is the first word that comes to mind to describe it. As soon as you step inside, you feel the homey vibe and very clean. The wait wasn’t very long. The waiters are friendly, caring, and attentive. Large groups are welcomed. Breakfast and lunch choices are available. The food was delicious. Doordash option available at this location. Brunswick County 2023 Peoples Choice Award well deserved.

We had a great foodie experience at Fixins! They were so welcoming and quick! We had the fried flounder and fries, chicken and dumplings, and pancakes and all were fresh and yummy! I definitely would be back and recommend this great team to anyone who enjoys great food and caring atmosphere!

We visited a new place this summer and stayed in Holden Beach. I love WW2 history and my 9 year old daughter loves lighthouses, so we decided to make our way up to the USS North Carolina. We stopped in Oak Island along the way for the lighthouse and breakfast. We stumbled upon Fixins OKI via Google and the menu seemed right up our alley. We packed up the whole family and headed out.

The food was not what we expected. My husband got the flounder. We thought that being by the cost , the fish would be more fresh. It honestly taste like it was from a bag out the freezer. My burger was so dry I couldn’t eat it, and I was a little disappointed that power eggs were used. It was really hot in the restaurant as well.

Loved Fixins OKI in Oak Island, NC. The service and staff were fantastic. The menu was absolutely unbelievable as well. So many options and you could have either breakfast or lunch. We had the pimento cheese omelet, a biscuit with pimento cheese and the waffles. Everything was delicious. The coffee was amazing as well. Will definitely go back when we visit.

Great breakfast spot! Like many restaurants in OKI they get busy and are often short staffed so wait times can get long, understandable but unfortunate. Waffles and scrambled eggs are good! I got a western omelette that was tasty, though could have used more cheese. Also, I wasn’t too fond of the grits… Had a strange flavor and no salt, so add plenty at the table! Sausage gravy is really good though the biscuit wasn’t as good.
